🎤🎶 Karaoke afternoon at Toray Pines! 🎶🎤

What better way to spend an afternoon than with plenty of singing, laughter and a little bit of dancing! 💃🕺 Our residents had a fantastic time getting together in the dining room for an afternoon of karaoke, singing along to some of their favourite songs and having lots of fun. ❤️

And of course, we couldn’t forget about our very own Karaoke King! 👑🎤 We had to take the fun up to his bedroom for a special sing-song too! He certainly didn’t disappoint and gave us another brilliant performance. 🎶👏

There really is nothing better than music bringing everyone together and putting a smile on everyone’s faces! 🥰🎵

☕🍰 A lovely afternoon at the Horse & Jockey! 🍰☕

Today we took a few of our lovely residents out for a little trip to our local Horse & Jockey for some coffee and cake… and of course, for those who fancied it, a little tipple too! 🍷🥂

Everyone had such a wonderful time, enjoying the lovely atmosphere, plenty of chats, lots of laughs and some delicious treats. ❤️ It’s always so special being able to get out into our local community and enjoy a lovely afternoon together.

A huge thank you once again to The Horse & Jokey for your wonderful hospitality and for always making us feel so welcome. We really do appreciate you looking after our residents so well. 🥰

🐻🧸 National Teddy Bear Day at Toray Pines! 🧸🐻

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the children from Coningsby St Michael’s School to Toray Pines for a lovely morning together celebrating National Teddy Bear Day! 💕🐻

Our lovely resident Jen did a wonderful job reading We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, and the children were completely engrossed in the story! 📖✨ It was so lovely to see them listening so carefully and enjoying the story together with our residents.

But the fun didn’t stop there! 🎉 We also had a resident celebrating their birthday, so the children joined us in singing Happy Birthday before everyone enjoyed sharing some delicious birthday cake together. 🎂🎈

There really is something so special about bringing generations together —❤️

A huge thank you to Coningsby St Michael’s School for coming to spend the morning with us. We loved having you here and can’t wait for our next visit! 🥰🐻

Here at Toray Pines, we love our one-to-one sessions with our residents, and today was a lovely opportunity to enjoy some time together out and about. 💕
We headed to the church, then enjoyed a lovely walk around our village, taking in the sights and having a good old chat along the way. 🏡🚶‍♀️
And of course, we couldn’t head home without stopping to pick up some beautiful flowers! 💐 What a lovely way to spend the afternoon, enjoying the simple things and making some special memories together. 🥰
It’s these little moments that make such a big difference. ❤️

The music was pumping, the arms were flying and our residents were definitely putting the “extra” into extra effort! 🔥🙌

We’re inviting our wonderful community to come along to Toray Pines for a delicious cream tea afternoon in aid of World Alzheimer’s Day. 💙

Come and enjoy a lovely afternoon with us, meet our residents, have a good natter and help us raise awareness and much-needed funds for such a great cause. 💜

For just £5 per cream tea, you’ll enjoy:
🍰 2 fruit scones with clotted cream & jam
☕ Unlimited tea, coffee or hot chocolate
🎟️ 1 free entry to our raffle

Today we started our autumn crafts, and what better way to begin than with some lovely woolly pumpkins! 🧶🧡
Our residents enjoyed getting creative, wrapping and shaping the wool to make their very own pumpkins. It was a lovely afternoon of crafting, chatting and enjoying each other’s company.
We think they look absolutely fabulous and are the perfect little decorations to bring some autumn colour into our home! 🍁
Well done to everyone who took part — we can’t wait to see what autumn crafts we get up to next! 🥰

Today at Toray Pines, we celebrated Cheese Pizza Day with a special Sweet 16 pizza party honoring the daughter of one of our Activities Coordinators as she celebrated her 16th birthday! 🎂🍕🥳

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with pizza, laughter, and birthday fun!

And we’re already looking forward to another very special celebration at the end of the month, when we’ll be celebrating Gwen’s 102nd birthday! 🎉🎂💐
