💙 Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who make such a difference in our lives.

Today we celebrate the love, guidance, kindness, and support that fathers give every day. We hope you have all enjoyed a special day surrounded by family and loved ones.

👑🇬🇧 Today at Toray Pines we celebrated the King’s Birthday in style with a wonderful afternoon tea! Although our celebration was a week later than the official occasion, it certainly didn’t stop everyone from enjoying a fantastic afternoon together.

Our residents were treated to a delicious homemade afternoon tea, complete with freshly made sandwiches, tasty sausage rolls, an assortment of scrumptious cakes, pots of tea, and handmade chocolates to finish. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversation as everyone came together to mark the occasion.

A huge thank you goes to our amazing kitchen team for all their hard work and dedication in preparing such a beautiful spread. Your efforts helped make the day extra special for our residents, and we are so grateful.

What a lovely Friday at Toray Pines! ☀️🌼

Today we held our Memory Café out in our beautiful garden, making the most of the sunshine. It was wonderful to see everyone relaxing with a cuppa, enjoying great company, plenty of conversation, and the fresh air.

A couple of our lovely visitors enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to stay and join us for our Fish & Chip Friday lunch too! 🍽️🐟🍟

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special morning. It’s always a pleasure to welcome familiar faces and new friends to Toray Pines, and we can’t wait to see you all again soon. 💙

Everyone is welcome, so why not pop in for a cuppa, a slice of cake, and a good chat? It’s a lovely opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends, and enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

🎤 Today, Toray Pines was taken over by our birthday girl! 🎂🥳

What better way to celebrate than with an afternoon of karaoke, singing, dancing, and plenty of laughter! From golden oldies to well-loved favourites, everyone joined in, whether it was with a microphone in hand or by clapping and singing along from their seat.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear the home filled with music and happiness. Moments like these remind us that celebrating together creates the very best memories.

⚽🎈 What a fun-filled and energetic day we've had here at Toray Pines!

First up, we welcomed the lovely Elly from Be Great Fitness. With the World Cup spirit in the air, we got our football boots on and enjoyed a fantastic game of armchair football! The balls were flying all over the place, keeping Elly and Sophie on their toes. There was plenty of laughter, smiles, and friendly competition throughout the session.

Next, we were delighted to welcome the fabulous students and teachers from Barnes Wallis Academy. Together, we played balloon volleyball football, which quickly became very competitive! Everyone got involved, had a wonderful time, and shared lots of laughs along the way.

A huge thank you to Elly, the students, and teachers for making today so special. Days like these create wonderful memories and bring so much joy to our residents. ❤️

As Carers Week comes to a close, today was a wonderful reminder of just how caring and compassionate this profession truly is. 💜
Today at Toray Pines, we were fortunate to receive support from a few carers from other Tanglewood homes. They stepped in with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help, making a real difference to both our team and our residents.
To all of our carers – thank you. Your dedication, patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment never go unnoticed. Every day, you bring comfort, dignity, friendship, and support to those who need it most. You are the heart of our homes, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
Today showed the true spirit of teamwork, compassion, and community that makes caring such a special profession.
