ISSS 2019 will be here before you know it. Squaw Valley in the USA will be our host venue between April 7-13th 2019.

And with a fabulous dinner and trip to the Olympic ski jump in Innsbruck, it's sadly all over for another two years. Over 100 presentations and posters from 18 countries. Let's keep the science going to keep everyone as safe as possible on and off the pistes.

Farewell and safe travels to all our friends from the outgoing ISSS President Mike Langran and ISSS 2017 Conference President Werner Nachbauer. Til we all meet again in Squaw Valley....

An interesting ruling with wide reaching potential ramifications...

The Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling found that resorts are protected from avalanche-related lawsuits under the Ski Safety Act, and that resort operators are exempt from liability when a death or injury occurs due to difficult to mitigate threats, such as terrain and weather.
