The route will use Gigha’s path network installed in 2023, taking in views across the water to Islay and Jura, the Sound of Gigha, and through beautiful woodlands, all to support the maintenance and upkeep of these paths.
Feel free to leave your car on the mainland and travel on the 20-minute Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry from Tayinloan. The walk to the Village Hall is only 1.7km / 25-minute walk from the ferry slip. There is some parking available at the Village Hall, or in the Argyll and Bute Council car park at the ferry slip (Gigha side).
Starting at Village Hall at 12:30, the route follows aggregate paths, tracks, and main road. Choose to complete one or two laps.

Younger than 13? Join us for a 12 and under race before the main event!
After the race, stick around for some refreshments, soup, and amazing home baking at the Village Hall.
