Today was all about the delicious food and vibrant culture of India. 💫
Lunch was unreal - a home-made curry bursting with fragrance and so many wonderful flavours. A huge well done goes to our super talented chefs (chefs kiss 😘).

We also embraced henna tattoos, the spirituality, wisdom and inner strength of bindis and we were treated to some stunning nail art in Shaunna's salon in 'Mumbai' 💅🏼🥰

The Exotic Marigold Hotel was our chosen film to relax to this afternoon and finally we geared up for a Bollywood-style belly dancing tutorial to wear everyone out before bed.

Now onto our final voyage through the night and we will be arriving on a tropical island! Sweet dreams, all 😴💤😘

What a marvellous Holiday Week we're having here so far on the SS Sussex Grange! ⛴️Yesterday, we took in the sunny sights of Spain 💃🏼with some flamenco fun, Spanish exercises, a Spanish themed BBQ, cooked by our very own Dr Tom Jameson, and a games night with family and friends - Viva Espana! ☀️🍔
Today we set sail for stunning Italy and have just enjoyed some delicious Italian cheese and wine in a 'Sip and Singalong' - a huge success and a lovely Italian playlist to listen to and sing along with.
So... let's hear you sing - When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's amore! (Gave you an ear worm now, didn't we!)

SHIP AHOYYY! The SS Sussex Grange has set sail for a week of wonderful activities as we travel the globe!
The cruise will take in the sights of Spain, Italy, India and Hawaii all in one week!
Passports are checked and we're all aboard for the holiday of a lifetime - let's go!

🎉 A VERY PROUD SUSSEX GRANGE MOMENT!

A HUGE well done to some of the youngest members of our Sussex Grange team, who received their GCSE results from The Academy, Selseylsey today! 💚

Imogen, Charlie, Cara and Bea, we hope you know just how proud we are of you. You have worked incredibly hard and we think you’re pretty amazing, not just because of the results you achieved, but because of the brilliant young people you are and the very valued part you each play in our Sussex Grange family. 🌟💚

And there is one other special member of our team who knows exactly who she is. We’re thinking of you today too and we’re every bit as proud of you. 💚

We also have to give an extra special shout out to Charlie, who The Academy recognised as one of its outstanding high achievers this year, achieving an incredible Grade 9 in both English Language and Maths, alongside Grade 8s across the board! 🌟 Absolutely amazing Charlie!

Today’s GCSE results are about so much more than the grades on the page. Everyone’s journey looks a little different, and success means different things to different people. Whatever today brought, we hope every young person can take a moment to feel proud of how far they’ve come and excited about where they’re heading next. 📖

Today we visited The Selsey Club for tea and cake and a cheeky game of bingo. We love a trip out and seeing the wonderful Hollie always makes us smile! 😘
It was also Amy Gates' last day at Sussex Grange 🥺🥺- she will be greatly missed by us all. Wishing you all the very best Amy 🌟- stay in touch!

Cancer in young adults is devastating, both for the people themselves, who are only just putting a foot into the adult world, and for their friends and family.
Please join us in supporting Fynn-Lee and this amazing family which is very close to our hearts.

The Hinshelwood family, many of whom have worked or are still working for Sussex Grange, received the news that Fynn-Lee was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on 3rd December last year.

Since then he has had several months of intense chemotherapy, numerous appointments and scans and has been too poorly to work, with family members having to use hard earned savings to help out and support him.

His family has already raised vital money for charities for cancer but now an amazing member of our care home team, Amy Gates, is raising money for them to be able to spend time together as a family and get some much-needed support.
