You don't have to wait until things become unbearable.

Reach out if your baby:

Tongue-Tie Myth vs Fact

❌ Myth: Every tongue-tie needs cutting.

✅ Fact: Many babies with a tongue-tie feed well and need no treatment.

❌ Myth: Every feeding problem is caused by tongue-tie.

✅ Fact: Feeding is complex. Positioning, milk supply, oral function and many other factors all play a role.

Our assessments look at the whole picture—not just what's under the tongue.

We believe families deserve honest, evidence-based advice and treatment only when it's appropriate.

World Breastfeeding Week Day 2 – Breastfeeding Shouldn't Hurt

"Is breastfeeding supposed to hurt?"

Many parents are told that pain is normal.

While some tenderness in the first few days can occur, ongoing pain, damaged ni**les or feeds that make you dread the next one are not something you should simply "put up with."

Pain can sometimes be linked to:
• Positioning and attachment
• A tongue-tie
• Shallow latch
• Milk transfer difficulties
• Other feeding challenges

The good news? Support is available.

Our experienced Midwives and IBCLCs can assess a full feed, identify what's happening and help you make feeding more comfortable.
