🌾🍂 Harvest at Greenacres 🍂🌾

We were delighted to come together at Greenacres to celebrate Harvest and give something back to our local community. ❤️ Our service users and staff kindly donated a selection of food and essentials to our local church, St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Sheldon helping to support those who may need a little extra help.

It was lovely to be able to share the spirit of Harvest and show that even a small contribution can make a big difference. 🌻 Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make our Harvest collection so special! 💛

💙 Every step forward is a step worth celebrating! 💙

At Greenacres we believe in supporting everyone to reach their own personal goals, no matter how big or small. This video shows the determination and hard work that goes into rebuilding mobility and confidence following a stroke. Through our wellbeing sessions, gentle exercises and encouragement, we aim to help our service users improve their movement, maintain independence and get back up and moving at their own pace. Every effort counts, every achievement matters, and we’re proud to support our service users on their journey. 🌟💪

💜 Celebrating achievements and new beginnings! 💜

We are so proud of one of our lovely service users, Debbie , who has made such wonderful progress during her time with us at Greenacres.

Through dedication, determination and hard work, she has achieved so much that she is now ready to move on to an exciting new chapter in her life. It has been a pleasure to be part of her journey, supporting her along the way and watching her grow in confidence and independence. Although we will miss seeing her at the centre, we wish her all the very best for the future and hope her next chapter brings lots of happiness and new opportunities. 🌟💜

🦙✨ A couple of weeks ago we had a very special visitor — a lovely llama! Our service users had a fantastic time meeting and interacting with our four-legged guest, with lots of smiles, laughter and excitement throughout the visit. 🥰 Spending time with animals can bring so many wonderful benefits, including promoting relaxation, encouraging communication and social interaction, stimulating the senses and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and connection. It was a lovely experience that brought everyone together and certainly put a smile on many faces! 💕🦙
