“For the first time in my 42 years, I have a quiet mind.” 😮
Can breathwork (and cold exposure as an additional option) help ADHD? There are limited studies, but as far as experiences go… it certainly seemed that way at Saturday’s workshop, after had the most incredible experience.
Loz came specifically because she has ADHD. She shared that she has spent her entire life with an overwhelmingly constant busy, noisy mind.
After the breathwork, before she had even got into the ice bath, she blew away the whole group by sharing that for the first time in her whole life, she had no thoughts.
And then she went into the cold… which took her even deeper into a state of pure peace.
I’m not claiming that the Wim Hof Method treats ADHD — one person’s experience can’t prove that. But when someone tells you they’ve experienced something for the first time in 42 years, you can’t help but think WOW.
There is already emerging research around breathing practices, mindfulness, exercise and cold exposure in relation to attention, stress and nervous-system regulation. But there is still so much we don’t know about the potential benefits of the Wim Hof Method for people with ADHD.
There is so much to explore, and that’s one of the reasons I love teaching this work. ❤️
Not because anyone can promise a particular outcome, but because sometimes people experience something completely new in themselves.
And Loz’s experience on Saturday was pretty special. ❤️

If you’ve experienced anything similar, it would be amazing to hear your story in the comments – these experiences are what it’s all about.
