SCHOOL DINNER LADIES….. ❤️

I led a funeral service this morning, during which I delivered a tribute dedicated to the life of a truly lovely, kind and generous lady, who for much of her working life was a school dinner lady.

In addition to time spent preparing food in numerous school kitchens, she was involved in the supervision of children during meal times. In doing so, I’m sure she touched the lives of many.

Her life story inspired me to think about some of the people we encounter during our lives who impact and influence us, often in seemingly insignificant ways.

I smiled to myself as I thought of certain school dinner ladies from my own childhood and what characters they were!
