A HUGE thank you to all the ladies who walked through the door at last night's Menopause Cafe. It's not always easy to join a newly created group, but these ladies have joined in and been open and honest about their experiences (and we have had a bit of a laugh too!)

If you would like to join us next month, we will be meeting again at Elliott Hall, South Wigston on Thursday, September 24th, 7.30pm-9.00pm.

We are all unique, and so are our experiences of peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause.

With so much information out there, it can all become a little overwhelming. What works for one woman may not work for another.

So, come and have a cuppa, take a breath and chat with women who are navigating their own menopause journeys too. No experts, no pressure, just conversation, connection and shared experience. 💛

Last night, it was lovely to spend time with some new attendees as well as those that had been before. The time went so fast, before we knew it, it was 9pm. Some of the comments made were that it was “great to talk to likeminded people in a similar situation” and “feeling a lot lighter”.

🌿 Our next Menopause Cafe is tomorrow evening at Elliott Hall! 🌿

Have you been thinking about coming along but haven't quite taken the plunge?

You're not alone! Many people tell us they weren't sure what to expect the first time. The good news is there's nothing to be nervous about.

When you arrive, you'll be welcomed by our hosts, Lou and Philippa, before settling into a relaxed, friendly conversation over a cuppa. There's no pressure to speak and no expectation to share your story. This is a space to listen, chat and connect with others who get it.

Whether you're navigating perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause, supporting someone who is, or you're just curious and want to learn more, you'll be made very welcome.

Our next Menopause Café is happening on Thursday 30th July, 7.30–9pm at Elliott Hall, South Wigston.

We offer a welcoming space to come together, share experiences, listen or simply be with others who understand.

There are no expectations to talk, you’re very welcome to just come along, have a cuppa and listen. There’s no set agenda and no pressure to share anything personal.

The café is open to everyone - whether you’re experiencing menopause yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more.

🎉 Happy 9th Birthday, Menopause Cafe! 🎉

Nine years ago, a simple idea sparked a global movement of open conversations about menopause. Rachel Weiss' idea has gone on to see thousands of Menopause Cafes bringing people together to share experiences, challenge stigma, and create understanding.

Thank you to every host, volunteer, participant, supporter, and partner who has helped make Menopause Cafe what it is today. You are at the heart of everything we do.

Here's to nine years of conversation - and to many more to come. 💜
