Get ready for a high-stakes showdown at Weymouth Football Club where our local heroes trade their uniforms for football kits. This epic charity match promises to be a thriller as the tactical precision of the police meets the relentless stamina of the paramedics, all to settle the ultimate local bragging rights.

The gates and stadium grounds open at 15:00, giving you plenty of time to explore local food vendors and a massive display of emergency vehicles before the main event. You can even join in for interactive CPR demonstrations to learn life-saving skills directly from the pros. Once you've grabbed a drink from the stadium bar, settle in for the 17:30 kick-off and prepare for ninety minutes of pure competitive energy.

Beyond the goals and the rivalry, both teams are united by a mission to raise crucial funds for Weldmar Hospicecare , Dorset & Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance , South Western Ambulance Charity , and Police Care UK .

“What actually is Bowen… and how could it help me?”
Probably the question I get asked most.

People often come to see me for things like:
• That nagging lower back ache that won’t quite shift
• Tight shoulders from desk work or stress
• A stiff neck that makes turning your head annoying
• Hip or knee niggles when walking, running or exercising
• Or just feeling tight, stiff and not moving as well as you used to

Bowen is a very gentle, relaxing hands-on therapy. I use small rolling moves over muscles and connective tissue, with short pauses that give your body time to respond and reset.

People often leave feeling deeply relaxed and may notice changes in how their body feels or moves over the following days.

Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

I run Thrive Bowen Therapy, and many of the women I work with initially come to see me for physical issues. What often keeps them coming back is that Bowen gives them a rare chance to truly put down the demands and responsibilities of life for a while.

It becomes a safe space to relax, reset and recharge, both physically and emotionally. I’ve seen Bowen gently support many women through some really tough times, and it’s a privilege to hold that space for them.
