If you’re ready to get some routine back in September, PLEASE don’t make a massive plan to overhaul your entire life on day one!
Because what’s the point in making an overwhelming plan when, deep down, you already know you’ll probably throw the towel in two weeks later?
Pick ONE priority for your first week and get that fitting into your life first. Then you can build from there.
And once you’ve decided what that priority is… MAKE A PLAN!!!
Saying “I’m going to do 3 workouts this week” isn’t actually a plan. It’s more of a wish and hope for the best 😂
WHEN are you doing them? What days? What time? And what’s your backup if life gets in the way?
Put them in your diary and treat them like appointments with yourself. You wouldn’t casually sack off a doctor’s appointment because something else cropped up, so stop making yourself the easiest thing to cancel. You ARE worth that 30 minutes 🩷
And please make sure the plan actually fits your life.
If it leaves no room for meals out, family time, socialising or a bit of flexibility… how long are you realistically going to stick to it?
Life is far too short for a plan that leaves you hungry, miserable and feeling like you’re missing out.
Your plan doesn’t need to look perfect on paper.
It needs to work for YOU in real life.
And if getting some structure back and putting yourself back on that priority list sounds like exactly what you need right now… keep your eyes peeled 👀💕
