plan your training, gym routines, hiit, circuits and track workouts. Your fitness is a choice, you choose to take part or not

I've always loved the fitness industry, taking in all aspects of it like a sponge. So if i get to share that knowledge with others, well thats what All PTs should want. A client so impressed with their new found confidence that they spread the word of your service. Thats success...

While most people were still hitting snooze, my client was putting in the work and absolutely smashing it out of the park.

Today’s session was a strong upper-body workout packed with effort, determination, and plenty of hard-earned reps. No shortcuts, no excuses—just consistent work being done when nobody’s watching.

Progress isn’t built by the odd great session. It’s built by showing up time and time again, especially at 6am.

Well done, client. Keep stacking those wins. 👊🔥 6AMClub

Friday was all about Farm Fitness, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. What an awesome place. Great atmosphere, great setup, and a brilliant place to train. I absolutely love it there. Looking forward to the next session already.

The Gym Isn’t Magic… It’s Maintenance.

People ask me how I stay consistent with training.

The answer is simple: I’m not chasing a transformation anymore. I’m maintaining one.

I’ve spent years building my strength, fitness and health. Years of early mornings, hard sessions, setbacks, injuries, learning, adapting and showing up when I couldn’t be bothered.

Yet every day people are sold the dream:

“Get the body you want in 6 weeks!”
“Transform your life in 30 days!”
“One weird trick…”

Mate, if getting in shape was that easy, we’d all look like superheroes.

Can you make progress in 7 weeks? Absolutely.

Can you build a strong, healthy, resilient body in 7 weeks?

Not a chance.

We live in an Amazon Prime world. Click today, delivered tomorrow. Unfortunately, your body didn’t get the memo.

Strength takes time.
Fitness takes time.
Muscle takes time.
Health takes time.

The uncomfortable truth is that many people will happily spend years neglecting their body, then expect six weeks to undo the damage.

And here’s the bit nobody likes hearing:

The work you avoid today is often the work you’ll be desperate to do later.

Train because future you is watching.

And trust me, future you either says:

“Thank you.”

Or…

“I wish we’d started sooner.”

Today’s workout was a reminder that strength is specific.

10 rounds of overhead presses, offset presses and standard weighted barbell presses. It felt rough. Not because I’ve lost strength, but because I simply haven’t been doing those movements. I’ve been focusing on other things, other challenges, and other ways of training.

That’s the reality of fitness. If you don’t use it, you don’t stay sharp at it.

I finished the session with plenty of bodyweight work and walked away knowing I’d put in a solid shift.

Not every workout is about smashing PBs. Sometimes it’s about exposing weaknesses, putting the work in, and building yourself back up.

Good session. Job done. On to the next one.

Vic said today: “No excuses.” And she meant it. Half term, two little girls in tow, but she still turned up, got involved, and put the work in. The girls joined in a little too and the whole session was brilliant to watch. Vic absolutely smashed herself through the paces, worked as hard as she could, and didn’t look for a single excuse, she just got it done. Massive respect. Well done, Vic 👏🏾💪🏾

Today Vic smash it, we used bands and body weight only. And we had a chat about training and I left her with….

People should stop obsessing over “lifting heavy.” The real key is resistance. Your body doesn’t know you’re lifting weights on a bar. Weights are resistance. Bands are resistance. Hills, sleds, stairs, sand, carries and bodyweight are all resistance. A mountain is resistance. Your body adapts to challenge and tension, not just heavy barbells. Heavy is relative. Bear crawl up Mount Everest and tell me bodyweight isn’t enough. Resistance training means any hard resistance training.

Don’t be fooled ……Science proves adaptation depends only on resistance and effort,
