What a fantastic day we had at Disability Awareness Day on Sunday 12th July!

It was a pleasure to meet so many wonderful people, connect with our local community, and celebrate inclusion together. We loved chatting with everyone who stopped by our stand and sharing what Alcedo Care is all about.

Of course, the star of the day was our mascot, Al, who had an amazing time meeting visitors, posing for photos, handing out smiles, and bringing plenty of energy and fun throughout the event! 📸🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, took a photo with Al, and helped make the day so memorable. We truly enjoyed being part of such an inspiring event and can't wait to see you all again next year!

We're still smiling after an incredible time at Disability Awareness Day 2026! 🌟

From meeting so many amazing people to sharing laughs, conversations, and plenty of photos with our much-loved mascot Al, it was a day to remember. Seeing so many smiles and celebrating inclusion together is what it's all about.

🎥 AL'S CHEEKY DAY OUT IN BLACKPOOL! 😄

What happens when Al gets a day off? Absolute chaos! 🤭

From dreaming of World Cup glory at the penalty shootout (maybe next year, Al! ⚽😂), to somehow losing his shoe along the way... it really was one adventure after another!

He bumped his way around the bumper cars, showed off some questionable dance moves after getting invited to a YMCA dance party, enjoyed a stroll along the famous Blackpool Promenade, and finished the day making memories (and causing a little mischief!) at Coral Island Arcade. 🎡🎰🌊

We can't leave Al on his own for five minutes... but we wouldn't have him any other way! 💙
