What kind of therapist am I?
I'm an integrative therapist, which means I don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
Every person has a unique story, experiences, and perspective. My job is to witness your experience without judgment.
I tailor therapy to you, rather than expecting you to fit into a particular therapeutic model. I don’t do short term therapy, or prescribe a certain number of sessions- you are the judge of what feels right for you.
Alongside psychotherapeutic tools and talking therapy, I integrate somatic approaches—working with the connection between the mind and body.
With many years of experience teaching yoga and working with the body, I've seen how stress, anxiety, and the effects of past trauma can manifest in nervous system hyper vigilance and pain or discomfort in the body.
My approach tends to be particularly helpful for people who have experienced trauma or who find themselves overwhelmed by stress and anxiety. While talking can bring valuable insight, learning to connect to your body and recognize its signals, can be extremely valuable in feeling feel safer within yourself.
My aim is to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported in a way that fits you.
If you're living with the impact of past trauma, struggling with anxiety or chronic stress, or simply feeling stuck, know that you don't have to navigate it alone.
