πΏ Daily Journal Prompt
What have I been needing lately that I havenβt been giving myself permission to ask for?
Maybe itβs rest, reassurance, support, space, connection, or simply permission to say no.
Take a few quiet moments to write without judging your answer. Sometimes recognising what we need is the first step towards learning how to meet that need. π
πΏ What do you need right now?
It sounds like a simple question, but sometimes we're so busy meeting everyone else's needs that we lose touch with our own.
Journaling can give us permission to slow down and listen. It can help uncover patterns, unmet needs and emotions that aren't always easy to recognise or put into words. My clients often describe how journalling can provide a private, judgement-free space to be completely honest about how things really feel, and that feels incredibly powerful for them.
π This weekβs journal prompt:
What have I been needing lately that I havenβt been giving myself permission to ask for?
Perhaps it's rest. Support. Reassurance. Connection. Space. A boundary. Or simply permission to say no.
You don't need to change or solve anything today. Just notice what comes up.
Sometimes understanding what we need is an important first step towards taking better care of ourselves. π
