💗 What care can you expect when you come to Mothers Mind?

Walking through the door of our Thursday group isn’t just about attending a support group. It’s about being met with kindness, understanding and no judgement.

Our Thursday Therapeutic Support Group is a safe, welcoming space for mums to:

🌿 Talk openly about how they’re really feeling
💗 Connect with other mums who understand
🫶 Receive peer support from women with lived experience
🧠 Explore emotions, thoughts and the challenges of motherhood
🎨 Take part in gentle therapeutic and reflective activities
📚 Access resources, sensory support and wellbeing activities
☕ Have a cuppa, something to eat and simply breathe
🌸 Build confidence and feel less alone

We take time to listen to you. There is no pressure to talk, share or take part in anything you’re not comfortable with.

Every mum’s experience is different and that’s okay.

📍 The Bridge Centre, Birches Head
🗓️ Every Thursday
⏰ 9:30am–1:00pm

A few hours where you don’t have to be “mum” to everyone else.

You can simply come as you are. 💗

🤰💗 Pregnant? New mum? Feel like you have absolutely NO idea what you’re doing?

You’re not alone.

One minute you’re pregnant and everyone is asking, “Are you excited?”
The next you’re holding a tiny human at 3am wondering why nobody warned you that sleep, showers and eating a hot meal would become luxury items. 🫠

And then there’s the emotional rollercoaster…
“I’m absolutely fine.”
“I’ve got this.”
“Why am I crying?”
“I’ve lost my phone.” (phone is in hand)

If you’re pregnant or have recently had your baby and things aren’t quite feeling how you expected, Mothers Mind is here. 💗

🌿 Thursday Therapeutic Support Group
📍 The Bridge Centre
⏰ Thursdays, 9:30am–1pm

☕ Tea, toast, chats, support and absolutely no judgement

We currently have spaces available for new mums and pregnant women to join us.

You don’t have to be at crisis point.
You don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong.
And you definitely don’t have to have your life together before you walk through the door. ❤️

Just come as you are.

You, your baby and your very questionable sleep schedule are all welcome. 💗

👶 Looking for trusted support as a parent?

Newcastle North PCN has created two FREE resources to support parents from babyhood through to school age.

🎧 Calm Your Baby – a short podcast series offering reassurance and practical advice on common concerns such as crying, reflux, feeding, sleep and settling.

📱 Little Humans – a free app providing calm, practical guidance on feeding, sleep, development, behaviour, worries and big feelings, helping parents understand what's normal, what may be happening and what might help.

These free resources are designed to give parents clear, easy-to-understand information and reassurance, while helping you recognise when further support or medical advice may be needed.
Find out more and access both resources here:

Remember, these resources are here to support you alongside your healthcare team. If you're worried about your child's health, please contact your GP practice or seek appropriate medical advice. See less

We pride ourselves on our woman-centred care.

Because you are more than a referral, a diagnosis or a number. You are a woman with your own story, your own needs and your own way of being supported.

☕ We know how you drink your tea.
🌿 We remember the little things that matter to you.
💬 We notice when you’re struggling.
🤍 We know when you need space, and when you need someone beside you.

Our weekly groups are a safe, welcoming space to come as you are. There’s no pressure to talk, no expectation to have everything figured out and no judgement.

Come along for a cuppa, a chat, gentle conversation, peer support and the chance to meet other women who share experiences.

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for support. Prevention matters too.

🌸 Join us at our weekly group and take a little time for you.

To find out more or book your place, send us a message — we’d love to hear from you.

At Mothers Mind, we believe support can be preventative, not just reactive.

You can self-refer to Mothers Mind at any point in your motherhood journey. You don’t need a diagnosis, a professional referral or to be in crisis. Sometimes, simply knowing there is somewhere to go, people who understand and a safe space to talk can make a real difference.

Our groups are a place to meet like-minded women, build friendships, share experiences and feel less alone. You might come because motherhood feels overwhelming, or you might simply want to connect with other mums and nurture your own wellbeing.

Our approach is woman-centred. We see the woman behind the mother. We listen to what you need, at your pace, without judgement.

Because sometimes prevention looks like:
🌱 having somewhere to belong
🤍 being heard before things become overwhelming
💬 talking to someone who understands
🌸 making friendships and finding your people
🫶 having support around you through the changing seasons of motherhood

You don’t have to wait until you’re struggling to find your village.

Mothers Mind — you are not alone. 🤍

"When we were looking for a base for our maternal mental health charity, we wanted somewhere that felt welcoming, accessible and rooted within the community. The Bridge Centre offered exactly that."

We're really pleased Mothers Mind - Staffordshire. are our August Spotlight! We'll be uploading the story next week, so remember to check back. We had a great chat with Sally from the charity, which has been based at The Bridge Centre for just over five years now.

Such a relatable image thanks for letting us share Anna Lewis | Sketchy Muma - Est. 2014 !!
If this resonates with you - you sure aren’t alone. The summer hols can be such a tricky time and there’s only so much you can do. Please know that you are enough and you are doing your best.
If the parenting stress is getting to you, please know we are here for you. Do check out our free services on our website ❤️❤️

[ID - a sketch of a mum on the phone with a calendar in the background. Text above the image asks “any plans for the summer holidays?” And the text to the side reads “um, well I have guilt coming to stay for 6 weeks whilst I try and juggle everything”. In front of her on desk are lots of things labelled “work emails” “list of lists” a box of “48 snacks” with a little hand trying to grab at them, “dentist”, “very important deadline” a box of fab lollies etc.] The image is by Anna Lewis | Sketchy Muma - Est. 2014

💛 A little reminder for our lovely regular mums and new mums. 💛

The school holidays are here and if you’ve already developed a slight twitch in your eye, started hiding in the bathroom for peace, or are counting down the days until September- we see you. 👀

We know the holidays can bring changes to routines, more noise, more snacks, more “Muuuuum!” and perhaps slightly less time to yourself! 😊

So we want to reassure you that our group continues to run throughout the holidays.

If you need your familiar space, a friendly face, a cuppa, a chat, or simply somewhere to come and be nurtured— we are here for you.

You don’t have to navigate the holidays alone. Whether you need support, connection, a safe space, or just an hour where nobody is asking you for food… we’ve got you. ☕♥️🧠

📆 Every Thursday | 9:30am–1:00pm
📍The Bridge Centre
📱 https://mothersmind-staffordshire.pembee.app/

Our group has a free-flowing structure, meaning you can fit your time with us around your own needs. Come for the whole morning, stay for as long as feels right, or simply drop in for the support and connection you need that day.

Because we know how important consistency and connection can be — especially when the routines go out the window and the eye twitch begins. 👀💛
