We pride ourselves on our woman-centred care.

Because you are more than a referral, a diagnosis or a number. You are a woman with your own story, your own needs and your own way of being supported.

šŸ’— We know you by your name.
ā˜• We know how you drink your tea.
🌿 We remember the little things that matter to you.
šŸ’¬ We notice when you’re struggling.
šŸ¤ We know when you need space, and when you need someone beside you.

Our weekly groups are a safe, welcoming space to come as you are. There’s no pressure to talk, no expectation to have everything figured out and no judgement.

Come along for a cuppa, a chat, gentle conversation, peer support and the chance to meet other women who share experiences.

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for support. Prevention matters too.

🌸 Join us at our weekly group and take a little time for you.

To find out more or book your place, send us a message — we’d love to hear from you.

At Mothers Mind, we believe support can be preventative, not just reactive.

You can self-refer to Mothers Mind at any point in your motherhood journey. You don’t need a diagnosis, a professional referral or to be in crisis. Sometimes, simply knowing there is somewhere to go, people who understand and a safe space to talk can make a real difference.

Our groups are a place to meet like-minded women, build friendships, share experiences and feel less alone. You might come because motherhood feels overwhelming, or you might simply want to connect with other mums and nurture your own wellbeing.

Our approach is woman-centred. We see the woman behind the mother. We listen to what you need, at your pace, without judgement.

Because sometimes prevention looks like:
🌱 having somewhere to belong
šŸ¤ being heard before things become overwhelming
šŸ’¬ talking to someone who understands
🌸 making friendships and finding your people
🫶 having support around you through the changing seasons of motherhood

You don’t have to wait until you’re struggling to find your village.

Mothers Mind — you are not alone. šŸ¤

"When we were looking for a base for our maternal mental health charity, we wanted somewhere that felt welcoming, accessible and rooted within the community. The Bridge Centre offered exactly that."

We're really pleased Mothers Mind - Staffordshire. are our August Spotlight! We'll be uploading the story next week, so remember to check back. We had a great chat with Sally from the charity, which has been based at The Bridge Centre for just over five years now.

šŸ’› A little reminder for our lovely regular mums and new mums. šŸ’›

The school holidays are here and if you’ve already developed a slight twitch in your eye, started hiding in the bathroom for peace, or are counting down the days until September- we see you. šŸ‘€

We know the holidays can bring changes to routines, more noise, more snacks, more ā€œMuuuuum!ā€ and perhaps slightly less time to yourself! 😊

So we want to reassure you that our group continues to run throughout the holidays.

If you need your familiar space, a friendly face, a cuppa, a chat, or simply somewhere to come and be nurtured— we are here for you.

You don’t have to navigate the holidays alone. Whether you need support, connection, a safe space, or just an hour where nobody is asking you for food… we’ve got you. ā˜•ā™„ļøšŸ§

Our group has a free-flowing structure, meaning you can fit your time with us around your own needs. Come for the whole morning, stay for as long as feels right, or simply drop in for the support and connection you need that day.

Because we know how important consistency and connection can be — especially when the routines go out the window and the eye twitch begins. šŸ‘€šŸ’›

šŸ’š Your support should be as individual as you are

At Mothers Mind Staffordshire, we know that no two mothers’ experiences are the same.

That’s why our booking system asks a little more about you and your individual needs before you attend our services.

You may be asked about:

✨ Your mental health and current experiences
✨ Birth trauma
✨ Neurodivergence — including whether you identify as neurodivergent, are exploring this, or prefer not to say
✨ Any adjustments that may help you feel more comfortable
✨ Anything you would like our team to know before you attend

These questions are not about putting you in a box or defining your experience.

They help us to understand how we can best support you.

When you attend our Support Group, this information helps our team provide a more individualised, compassionate and inclusive experience.

Our group offers:

šŸ“£A safe space to talk and be heard
šŸ«‚ Peer support from mothers who understand
šŸ“ Therapeutic and wellbeing activities
šŸŽØ Sensory support and creative reflection
🧠 The opportunity to explore different topics around motherhood and mental health
ā°Support at your own pace, with no pressure to share

You don’t need to wait until you are in crisis to reach out.

You don’t have to fit into a box to receive support. Your experience is unique. Your support should be too.

šŸ“£Meet Another Wonderful Member of Our Mothers Mind Steering Group.

We are so excited to introduce another incredible mum who has chosen to join our Mothers Mind Steering Group.

Each member of the group has experienced our support firsthand and is now helping to shape the future of our charity. Their role isn’t to be an expert—it’s to bring the most important expertise of all: lived experience.

By sharing their insights, ideas and honest reflections, they are helping us ensure that Mothers Mind continues to grow in ways that truly meet the needs of local mums and families.

We know that the best services are built with the people they support, not just for them. That’s why we’re so proud to have women who have walked this journey alongside us helping to guide our future.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve come to believe that support is only available when things have reached crisis point. But becoming a mother is one of the biggest transitions a woman will ever experience, and every mother deserves a space to be supported through that journey—not just when she’s struggling.

At Mothers Mind, we believe support should begin with connection, not crisis.

Whether you’re pregnant, navigating the early days with your baby, or simply adjusting to the many changes that motherhood brings, our groups offer a welcoming space to pause, reflect and share your experience with other women who understand.

You don’t have to be diagnosed with a mental health condition. You don’t have to be ā€œcoping badly.ā€ You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is talk about the realities of becoming a mum before you reach breaking point.

Motherhood can bring joy, uncertainty, excitement, loneliness, pride, fear and love—all in the same day. Every experience is valid, and every mother deserves to feel heard without judgement.

Come for a cup of tea. Stay for the conversation. Build friendships, grow in confidence, and discover that you are not alone.

Because every mother deserves support—not just those in crisis.

If you’re pregnant or have a baby under two years old, we’d love to welcome you. Join us and become part of a community where mothers support mothers, one conversation at a time.
