FRONTLINEdance

FRONTLINEdance FRONTLINEdance is an artist-led company based in Stoke-on-Trent. 2023-26 We are a not-for-profit organisation, established since 2001.

In 2019 we produced our first City-Wide Arts Festival (FAF) that had audiences access needs at the centre, and that showcased the work of disabled artists of all art forms. As makers we explore how we can create exciting, relevant and thought-provoking contemporary dance with d/DEAF, visually impaired, disabled, hospital patients, and neurodivergent audiences. We co-create across ages, backgrounds

, and experiences, naturally integrating people together, reducing isolation, improving physical, mental and social health and well-being. CURRENT WEEKLY PARTICIPATORY PROGRAMME; Breakthrou'dance YOUTH, ADULT & ADVANCE, Moving Together Burslem, Trent Vale & Online, Moving Stories Dance Co (MONTHLY), and Transcend. PLEASE SHARE! Join the FRONTLINEdance Board!

We're looking for two voluntary Board Directors and one voluntary Board Member to help shape the future of FRONTLINEdance.

We're especially keen to hear from people with experience in contemporary dance, disability arts, creative health, leadership, governance, finance, or strategic development.

Our overarching ambition is to strengthen our foundations, expand our impact, and ensure d/Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent people, hospital patients, and those with long‑term health conditions can access, enjoy, and thrive within arts and culture across Stoke‑on‑Trent, North Staffordshire, and beyond.

We want our Board to reflect the people and communities of FRONTLINEdance and to expand the diversity of voices represented within it.

Applications close 7 September 2026.
