I shared how I treat people in my practice to target the root cause of imbalance and create bespoke herbal medicines to restore health and well being 🌿💚🌿

We tried lots of herbal medicines and learned how this long standing profession of antiquity has so much relevance and effectiveness in our modern day lives

🌿We enjoyed the dappled shade and beautiful views as we learned from the plants and their wisdom, trying different herbal remedies and discovering how to make our own.

At our Spring Workshop on Sunday we enjoyed these delicious foraged and homemade foods

🌿wild garlic pesto
🌿spring pea and herb hummus with chervil, parsley and mint
🌿nettle soup
🌿homemade rosemary and sea salt focaccia
🌿leafy greens with sorrel, dandelion leaf, ground elder and primrose

Lots of tasty plant foods to support great health and a happy gut microbiome!

Thank you so much to Amelia and Jason and all those who joined us for our sold out Spring herb walk on Sunday 💚🌿

The sun warmed our backs and the spring plants displayed their vibrant greens and beautiful flowers whilst we learned about their medicinal properties. We finished the walk with herbal teas around the fire and remedies to try.

Such a beautiful day spent with lovely folk. Thank you for your curiosity and eagerness to bring plant medicine into your homes. May you feel empowered to make safe and effective herbal medicines of the season 🌿💚🌿

Thank you so much to The College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy for asking me to present a case at their Spring conference in London last Saturday 🌿

A chamomile - Matricaria chamomilla - tea infusion used as a nasal rinse over 3 months eliminated Stage 3 nasal polyps and the need for polypectomy, bringing relief and healing to my patient and his partner as his breathing and sleep improved and his airways cleared. Thank you to them for their consent in sharing the case and their belief in the power of herbal medicine 🌿💚🌿

The CPP conference was a wonderful day immersed in the power of herbal teas and the company of inspirational like minded folk. 🌿💚🌿
