🍯🐝 Happy World Honey Bee Day! 🐝🍯

Did you know that at Oulton Abbey Care Home we have honey bees on site! 🌼

Wonderful beekeeper, Gill, cares for and looks after the bees and creates a range of lovely products from their honey, including delicious honey, nourishing lip balm and other honey-based products. 🍯💛

We’re proud to support our busy little bees and celebrate the important role they play in our environment! 🐝🌸

🎉 Bingo Fun at Oulton Abbey! 🎉

Our residents have been enjoying a lively game of Picture Bingo on this warm summers day! 🥳

At Oulton Abbey Care Home, we love keeping bingo fresh and exciting by playing different versions, including Music Bingo, Picture Bingo and Number Bingo. 🎶🖼️🔢

Bingo is a fantastic activity that helps stimulate the mind, encourage interaction and promote hand-eye coordination, while being adaptable and inclusive for residents of all abilities. Most importantly, it’s lots of fun and gives everyone the opportunity to get involved! ❤️

Our bingo sessions are also resident-led, with residents helping to call the bingo, choose the prizes and take an active role in running the game. It’s wonderful to see everyone getting involved, making decisions and supporting one another along the way. 🏆👏

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying an afternoon of bubbles, laughter, and sunshine. Watching bubbles float through the air brought out so many smiles and joyful memories, reminding us that happiness can be found in the simplest activities.
