Stourport Men Walking and Talking took on a different stride this evening and stepped foot into Stourport Spartans 🤝🏼

Keaton and Jake put us through our paces, opened our eyes to a new way of breaking down barriers, opening up a space for those meaningful conversations and a safe place to let off any hidden emotions 💬

1 hour with these boys has created such a buzz, along with the momentus occasion of Keaton completing his 100 miles only yesterday

Congratulations Keaton, and thank you for having us 👊🏽

May we continue breaking down stigmas and offering safe space for our like minded men of Stourport 🥊

A Dedication to Stickman Steve, Remembering Steve Richards

Following the tragic passing of Stickman Steve, I was contacted by his Dad, Dan, where we had the opportunity to talk about the purpose of Stourport Men Walking and Talking and the impact that groups like ours can have within the community.

During that conversation, Dan shared his wish to make a donation directly to Stourport Men Walking and Talking from the kind donations received in memory of Steve. Dan and his family have kindly given us permission to share this, and we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for their generosity and support. I would like to also thank Dan for joining us this evening to see the real impact Stourport Men Walking and Talking has on our community.

Today, we dedicate this post to the character and spirit of Stickman Steve, known to those closest to him as Steve Richards. While many knew the Stickman character, behind it was a person who brought smiles, connection, and memories to so many.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Wesleyan Church Stourport and Edwin Harris Funeral Directors for their generous donations. Contributions like these allow Stourport Men Walking and Talking to continue developing, growing, and embedding ourselves even further within our community, creating spaces where people can walk, talk, connect, and support one another.

This post is also a place to celebrate Steve’s life. We invite everyone to share their own small but meaningful memories, stories, or moments with Steve, helping us create a lasting memorial to someone who clearly touched many lives.
