August has a different feel to it.

For many of us, it's holidays, slower mornings, family time, or simply making the most of the longer summer days.

It's also a reminder to pause and make a little time for yourself.

Self-care doesn't have to be anything elaborate. It might be a quiet walk, sitting in the garden, reading a book, or simply taking an hour to completely switch off.

However you're spending August, I hope you find a little time to rest, recharge and do something that's just for you.

Not all of my Reiki clients have two legs 🐾

This is Monty, my own dog.

He recently had an operation to remove a growth from his head and, while he was recovering, he was more than happy to enjoy a little Reiki.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that can help promote relaxation and a sense of calm. It's not just for people, many animals can benefit from it too, particularly during times of stress, illness or recovery.

I offer Animal Reiki from my treatment room or can visit your home if you're within a 10-mile radius of Ettington.
