We’re looking for a Volunteer Fundraising & Grant Coordinator to help us secure funding for our CIC’s mission to provide accessible, nature-focused counselling and wellbeing services.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a passionate and organised volunteer to help coordinate wellbeing events, fairs, and community outreach for Earth Wisdom Ecotherapy Community Interest Company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people.

Essential Qualities & Skills:
✔ Passion for mental health, wellbeing, and ecotherapy
✔ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
✔ Confident in engaging with the public and representing our CIC
✔ Ability to communicate clearly and warmly
✔ Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team
✔ Reliable and committed to attending agreed events

Desirable Qualities & Skills:
➕ Experience in event planning or community outreach
➕ Knowledge of ecotherapy or a willingness to learn
➕ Social media or marketing experience to help promote events
➕ Access to transport (some events may be off-site)

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, develop skills, and be part of a meaningful movement to support mental health through nature.

At Earth Wisdom, we understand that accessing mental health support can be challenging, particularly for those facing financial barriers.

We offer a set of 12 counselling sessions at a reduced cost, which includes both traditional counselling and elements of ecotherapy that emphasise living seasonally and connecting with nature (Earth's Wisdom).

Your sessions will take place in our calming counselling room, providing a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Some sessions will be held outdoors, allowing for a deeper connection with nature as part of your therapeutic journey, and fostering a harmonious balance between traditional practices and ecotherapy.

Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where you can work towards improving your mental health. If you feel this support could be beneficial for you, please reach out to discuss how we can help you on your path to healing.

As the season of hope and creation is stirring within us, we are awakening and setting seeds of intention of what we wish to grow.

In the coming weeks, we will shift from awakening to actively nurturing our intentions. This will be a time of balance, where day and night are equal, reminding us to cultivate harmony within ourselves as we step into growth.

Join us for the Fertile New Beginnings & Inspiration workshop on Saturday 15th March 2025, where we will explore this seasonal transition, connecting with nature's cycles to support our own renewal. through reflective practice and creative exercises, we will honour both where we are and where we are heading, inviting fresh inspiration for the path ahead.

Ecotherapy recognises that through our connection with natural green spaces, nature has the ability to nurture us, and we can match this healing contact by nurturing nature.
