🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

We’ve been asked to step in for two dogs who are now at risk of being put to sleep — and we truly want to give them that chance. 🤍

These two boys have done nothing wrong. Their families’ circumstances have changed, life has become too busy, there are children involved, and despite trying to find alternatives, they have reached the point where they feel they have no other option.

I’ve met both of these dogs personally — and they are genuinely lovely boys. Friendly, deserving, and full of potential if somebody is willing to open their home and give them a chance.

Time is now very limited, and if we are able to help, we need to bring them into rescue on Sunday.

The problem? We have no space.

All of our foster homes are currently full, or already committed to dogs arriving next week.

So we are asking — is there anybody who could offer a temporary foster space for up to 10 days while we make room?

We cover and provide all food and veterinary care — all we ask is that you offer a safe place to stay, kindness, and a little bit of love.

I know this is not an ideal timing BUT we really need your help!

I took a call a few hours ago about a dog in a very bad situation.. she is a large breed of a dog that will be put to sleep on Friday if we can’t find her a space.

We cannot discuss the circumstances on socials because of the sensitivity of the case but happy to chat with individuals who might be interested.

The ideal home:

🐾 no small furries or small dogs (anything that can bring her prey drive)

🐾 ideally no other dogs but that can be discussed

🐾 somebody who is ideally at home most of the time

🐾 you will need to live within 90 mins drive from
Wimborne

🐾 large breed experience preferred

Getting ready for a new foster arrival. Feel very privileged to work with Mikey’s Dog Rescue - a highly ethical rescue in Dorset. Rescuing abused, abandoned dogs is highly rewarding. Watching them decompress and become the dog they were meant to be melts my heart.

Handsome boy in the morning sun!

Pablo is doing so well, loves a good run and is overall a very cheeky boy ♥️

He is a massive goof and a ball of energy but soft as butter.

Pablo needs an owner who will agree to continue with his training. We will be there every step of the way to help and support too! He can be strong on a lead but is really easily manageable.

Could Pablo be the dog for you? 🐾

Some facts:

He is 4 years old
He LOOOOVES food and his treatos
He is sometimes not aware of his strength
He is very food motivated
He knows basic commands and is really eager to please

UPDATE 💔💔💔

This boy is now at serious risk to be PTS. And we totally hate it. So if you think you can help, know of somebody that can or can share this post we would be VERY grateful

!!! We are looking for a very specific foster!!!

We were asked this weekend to take on a large breed of a dog that is clearly a welfare case (hence the vague description).

And as we are full with dogs waiting to come in and our foster pawrents are stretched to the limit we are trying the “power of social media”!

We are looking for somebody experienced with large breeds who’s got the time to work with us and get this beautiful boy to a better place than where he is now.

He is not an XL Bully or any bull breed, he’s not aggressive but he’s got issues with separation anxiety and he has got a very little to no lead training. He is scared of his own shadow at the moment and the environment he is in is only causing more damage.

So, if you have any experience, a bit of time on your hands and want to help us make one doggo a happy soul please get in touch. We will be able to share a bit more details in messages. We will pay all the bills and food and will provide the resources and any training necessary.

All the doggies in the picture are either in our care or were very recently adopted.

We love our foster carers because without them we won’t be able to do what we do - help disadvantaged and unwanted dogs find their forever homes 💙
