A visit to one of our favourite local spots! 🍷🍸

Residents Derek, Wendy, Pat and Jean enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at The Crown in Marnhull, soaking up the character of this beautiful traditional pub.

Over drinks and great company, everyone shared happy memories of dancing, socialising and evenings spent with friends. It was another lovely outing filled with conversation, laughter and nostalgia.

🌞🎪 We had a wonderful time bringing the community together for our Summer Fayre at Newstone House!

Residents, families, friends and visitors enjoyed a fantastic afternoon filled with traditional fairground fun, including games, a raffle, a lottery tree, candyfloss, and live entertainment 🎶✨

A special highlight was Percival the peacock 🦚, a beautiful creation made by our residents during arts and crafts sessions. Crafted from papier-mâché, clay and real feathers, Percival took pride of place at the fair and proved a popular talking point with visitors.

Residents also created bird feeders and posies to sell in support of our chosen charity, The Vale Family Hub. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the event helped raise the total amount donated to more than £850 💙

Sometimes a sausage roll is all you need!

Newstone House residents Wendy and Derek enjoyed a special trip to the Udder Farm Shop to enjoy their favourite homemade sausage rolls.

With beautiful North Dorset views, great company and a delicious treat to enjoy, it was the perfect afternoon outing.

(And we can’t confirm whether any extra rolls came back to the home… 😉)

Newstone House celebrated Boba Bubble Tea Day in style 🧋✨

Residents enjoyed learning about bubble tea, creating their own drinks and trying different flavour combinations. With colourful decorations, bubbles and plenty of tasting, it was a fun afternoon shared by residents, relatives and staff alike.

Residents at Newstone House marked the King's Birthday with a celebratory afternoon of royal-themed activities.

After enjoying the spectacle of Trooping the Colour, residents gathered for a Royal Family quiz before tucking into a delicious afternoon tea prepared by Head Chef Donna.

A wonderful afternoon filled with conversation, laughter and plenty of tasty treats 👑☕🇬🇧

Barbara and Phillip enjoyed an Italian-themed afternoon with a glass of rosé 🍷🇮🇹

There was plenty of conversation about holidays and travel, with stories from Portugal and some fun attempts at Italian phrases too. Italian-inspired treats like prosciutto and tiramisu rounded off the afternoon nicely.
