With kind permission from the family, we’re proud to share this very personal farewell arranged by our Gordon Barber Funeral Directors team in Lowestoft.

When the family asked if we could organise a final journey on a First Eastern Counties bus, it really mattered to us to make it happen. It was a fitting tribute to Michael’s life and the years he spent behind the wheel.
Seeing colleagues gather at the bus station to pay their respects, and being able to bring everyone together in such a meaningful way, made this a truly special send-off.

At Dignity, we’re always here to listen and do everything we can to help families create a service that feels right for them – no matter how unique the request.

We’re honoured to share this meaningful initiative from our colleagues at Sankey & Monks Funeral Directors , who carefully arranged the memorial in Pennington Park in remembrance of those who so tragically lost their lives.

The Manchester Arena tragedy was felt across the UK and around the world, and as we approach the 9th anniversary, this special place stands as a powerful symbol of collective remembrance - offering a peaceful space for reflection, support, and unity 🐝

For those local to the area, we warmly invite you to join the service on 22nd May at 12pm - a moment to come together, reflect, and honour the young lives lost.
