🌿 Another lovely lunchtime walk at Albert Village today! 🌿

The weather was much kinder to us than last week, making for a really enjoyable walk around the lake with plenty of good conversations along the way ☀️💚

It was great to see a mix of familiar faces and people continuing to support the group week after week. Thank you as well to everyone who brought back their registration forms, it’s much appreciated.

Every walk is a reminder of how important it is to take some time away from the day-to-day, get outdoors, and connect with others.

⚠️ A quick reminder that there will be no Touch Grass walks next week as both myself and my dad are away. We’ll be back the following week and look forward to seeing you all then!

A huge thank you to Active South Derbyshire for the feature and support! 💚🌿

What started as a simple idea to get people outdoors and talking has grown into something really special, and it’s amazing to see organisations recognising the positive impact that walking, fresh air, and community can have.

Touch Grass has never been about fitness levels or pressure, it’s simply about creating a welcoming space where people can get outside, meet others, and enjoy real-life conversations.

14 of us came together tonight for a lovely walk in the sunshine, with plenty of smiles, great conversations, and a really positive atmosphere throughout. 💚

🌧️☔ Today’s Albert Village lunch walk was definitely one to remember!

Despite the heavy rain and winds, 5 of us still turned up, got outside, and enjoyed a walk together. 💚

It may not have been the driest lunchtime stroll, but it proved that a bit of bad weather can’t dampen good conversations and a great community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the conditions and came along today! Hopefully we’ll be back to sunshine next week! 🌿

Yes, it’s looking like a rainy one today, but the walk is still going ahead as planned! 💚

We’ll only cancel if there’s a severe weather warning or conditions become unsafe.

If you’re joining us, I’d recommend bringing:
☔ An umbrella
🧥 A waterproof jacket
👟 Suitable footwear for wet paths
