Our team continues its deployment at the incredible Castell Roc, providing medical cover inside the historic surroundings of Chepstow Castle.

🌮🎪 **CARDIGAN FOOD FESTIVAL – CARDIGAN**
Another team heads west to Cardigan for a fantastic day celebrating food, local producers and the community at Cardigan Food Festival.

🎶🎉 **CARMARTHEN BREAKTHROUGH FESTIVAL – CARMARTHEN**
And we'll also have a team in Carmarthen supporting Breakthro' Festival, another brilliant local event bringing people together through live entertainment and community spirit.

Behind the scenes, days like tomorrow take a huge amount of coordination – from staffing and vehicles to equipment, logistics, medical planning and making sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time.

It's also a great example of the range of events our teams support.

From a **major live music festival inside an 11th-century castle**, to a busy **food festival**, to a fantastic **community music festival** – every event is different and every event deserves professional, well-planned medical provision.

# # # 🏰 A FESTIVAL WITH A VERY SPECIAL HOME

Castell Roc isn't your typical music festival.

It takes place within **Chepstow Castle – Wales' oldest surviving stone castle**, with construction beginning all the way back in **1067**.

For centuries these walls have witnessed Welsh and British history.

This August they'll be witnessing something slightly louder… 🎸🤘😂

Castell Roc has grown into a much-loved part of Chepstow's summer calendar, earning its reputation as **"The Friendly Festival"** and bringing thousands of visitors into the town.

There's also a fantastic community spirit behind the people involved with Castell Roc, with fundraising over the years supporting a number of charitable causes.

With multiple events taking place across South Wales over the coming weeks, we are looking to recruit additional reliable and professional ad-hoc staff to join our growing team.

We would like to hear from:

✅ Patient Transport Staff
✅ First Responders / FREC 3
✅ FREC 4 / Emergency Care Assistants
✅ EMTs / Ambulance Technicians
✅ Paramedics

All applicants must either hold a suitable recognised qualification or be willing to complete a self-funded training course through our own training academy.

We offer flexible ad-hoc work, ongoing CPD, practical experience and the opportunity to progress through the clinical grades — from Patient Transport Staff through to EMT level.

🚑 The Summer of Events Continues… Next Stop – The Royal Welsh Show! 🌾🐄

The momentum doesn’t stop for South Wales Medical Services Ltd.

Following an incredibly busy weekend supporting Tiger Stripe at the iconic Foxhill motocross event, we’re proud to have also been selected to provide medical personnel at one of the UK’s most prestigious agricultural events – The Royal Welsh Show.

Throughout the week, our clinicians will be supporting both the main showground and the SV Arena, helping to keep competitors, exhibitors, visitors and staff safe during what is expected to be another fantastic event.

Held annually at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, the Royal Welsh Show is the largest agricultural show in Wales and one of the biggest in Europe. Since its permanent move to Llanelwedd in 1963, the show has become a celebration of Welsh farming, rural life and countryside traditions, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

The event showcases the very best of Welsh agriculture, including livestock competitions, equestrian events, forestry, horticulture, food and drink producers, rural crafts, countryside organisations and agricultural innovation. It provides a vital platform for farming families, many of whom have cared for the Welsh landscape for generations, preserving traditions while embracing modern farming practices.

Agriculture has always been at the heart of Wales, with sheep and cattle farming shaping not only the countryside but also the communities and livelihoods of rural Wales. The Royal Welsh Show continues to celebrate that heritage while highlighting the importance of the industry for future generations.
