A massive congratulations to our wonderful Rhiannon Taylor, our Employee of the Month for July! 👏❤️

This is so well deserved. Rhiannon puts so much time, thought and effort into everything she does for our residents. Her activities are always full of fun, laughter and smiles, and you can see just how much our residents enjoy them. 🥰🎨🎶💃

And when I say she’s dedicated… I mean DEDICATED! 🤣 Apparently neither Rhiannon nor I know what a day off is I’m still getting Facebook uploads from her at 8am on a Sunday morning! 😂📱 “Charl, can you put this on Facebook?” 🤣❤️

That really sums Rhiannon up though always thinking about our residents and Sketty House, even when she’s supposed to be off! 🥹

Thank you for everything you do, Rhiannon. Your hard work, enthusiasm and genuine care certainly don’t go unnoticed.

Enjoy your chocolates and your £20 you’ve definitely earned them! 🍫💷

Our gentle Pat had an appointment today, and of course that was the perfect excuse to stop for a coffee and a slice of cake afterwards! 🥰

We would like to say a massive thank you for the very generous donation of men’s clothing for our residents’ shop. 🥰

Everything is absolutely lovely and basically brand new our gentlemen are delighted with their new selection! 👕👖🧥

While waiting for lunch to be served, our residents decided there was only one thing for it… a good old sing-song! 🎤😂

And I think it’s safe to say the award for the loudest singing table goes to Iris, Sheila, Marilyn and Margaret! 🏆🎶🤣

Absolutely love seeing everyone joining in, having a laugh and enjoying themselves. Well done, ladies you certainly made yourselves heard! 😂👏💗

It’s always nice for the gentlemen to have some time together a good chat, a few drinks, plenty of laughs and, most importantly… a bit of peace and quiet I suppose! 😉🤣🍻

🚶‍♀️🌿 Walking Club has officially started at Sketty House! 🌿🚶‍♂️

Today we kicked off our new walking club, and our residents absolutely loved getting out for a good few laps around the garden! 🥰☀️

It’s amazing how much better you can feel after a little fresh air, gentle exercise and some good company. 💙

Plenty of steps, smiles and fresh air today I think we’ll all be sleeping well tonight! 😴😂

Curry and bingo… now that’s an afternoon done right! 🍛🎉

Our residents enjoyed a delicious curry lunch before settling down for an afternoon of bingo, laughter and a little friendly competition. There were plenty of smiles, lots of chat and, of course, a few lucky winners! 🏆💙

It’s the simple afternoons spent together that create the best memories here at Sketty House. ❤️

So I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but here at Sketty House we absolutely love a party! 🎉🙌😆

Today we were treated to a fantastic visit from the choir, who had everyone singing along to some upbeat favourites. Of course, it wasn’t long before we were all up dancing! 💃🎶

The morning was rounded off perfectly with refreshments, drinks, plenty of laughter and a good old natter. It’s moments like these that bring everyone together and make such wonderful memories. ❤️
