As I get to the end of my research for a leather bound book I start to put the final touches in. I research world events for the timelines on each individuals pages and of course checking that there are capital letters and full stops in the right place....with a bit of help from the sister.

After 71 days in hospital, My world collapsed and Dad lost his fight with sepsis. It is hard and have never experienced grief like it. But Dad would not want my life to stop and so I return to my research at a steady pace.

Part of my research for my clients is always researching photographs to match a place or event. Henry and Minnie were married in Christ Church in Doncaster. Such a beautiful eye catching church. A marriage that would last till Henry's death in 1964.

Easing myself back into work with an afternoon playing with old photographs ready for a leather bound book being published. The smiles in a couples face never change despite the years. The lovely Enid will be a 100 this year.

My family and I have recently had a tough period of time which has left me unable to carry out my job. Following my car accident in September and some recovery time. I contracted flu, which I unfortunately shared with my dad and resulted in him being hospitalised and in a serious condition. after becoming close to losing him I found it difficult to focus and almost impossible to find the time to carry out the research and attention to detail I need to do this job. We are as a family slowly coming out the other side and I am hoping to slowly return to the work that I love.
