With a really heavy brow visual fields can be obstructed from the weight of the brow, the position of the brow as well as excess skin on the upper eyelids.

This can be very debilitating and interfere with every day life especially when feeling tired and driving.

Whenever we consider upper eyelids we must always consider the brow position and shape, as the two are inextricably linked - therefore when you come for a consultation to discuss what appear to be issues with the upper eyelids don’t be surprised when I bring up the brows as well

I first operated on this lovely patient back in 2015 🕰️, and we undertook an augmentation mastopexy to reshape and reconstruct her breasts at that time.

Since then, she has had three children 👶 , and she’s lost 4 stone in weight , which has had profound effects on her abdomen and breasts.

Her breasts have emptied, especially the upper poles. They’ve reduced in size, they’ve lost support, and she has issues with overhanging skin of her C-section scar, skin excess, scar tethering, and other issues associated with significant amounts of weight loss.

Therefore, we elected to do reconstructive surgery and undertook a combination approach of implant exchange, mastopexy, and a

I’m delighted with the life-changing results we’ve been able to achieve and the difference it’s made to her life. She required a small scar revision on the vertical scar between the breasts, which we undertook recently (hence the scar in that area being pink), but overall the result is everything she hoped it would be and beyond 🤩
