💛 Mental Health Services are so underfunded in our country with many services being forced to close due to our governments complete lack of support and incompetence.

💛 Currently Northern Ireland has the highest prevalence of mental ill health in the UK with rates approximately 25% more than England.

💛 1 in 5 adults are currently struggling with mental illness

💛 1 in 8 children experience emotional distress with over 40% of 16 year olds experience probable mental ill health.

💛 have taken things into their own hands and organised this amazing fundraising event ‘Race Across the Country 2026’ to come together and seek support from the local communities and beyond to be able to continue to provide mental health support and wrap around services to local families and their children 💫 💪🏼

In love with this idea! 🥰 In Play Therapy, Role Play is often observed as a way to explore and process grief. It supports children to process thoughts and feelings from a safe distance but more so when using props such as telephones and/or puppets they can experience having conversations with the person they have lost again and there is something very powerful in that!
Having a Wind Phone supports this process and is an amazing idea to support the grief process giving people the opportunity to voice conversations to loved ones they have lost 🫶

I’ve never seen one of these before. A wind phone. Si King shared it on Instagram the other day.

I think it might be a Japanese idea originally where there’s a disconnected phone in a garden.

People go there to talk to the people they’ve lost. Not because anyone answers or because it “fixes” grief.

Just because sometimes love needs somewhere to go. I think that’s beautiful.

We spend so much time pretending we’re fine, moving on, staying busy, “being strong”

Meanwhile, a little old rotary phone in the wind is quietly reminding people that missing someone is normal. That continuing the conversation is normal.

Love it x

💫 a therapeutic and transformative workshop designed to support young girls to develop long lasting confidence, empowerment and resilience 💕

In a world where young girls are struggling to live in the present moment, be impulsive, make mistakes, learn from those mistakes and ultimately build new neural pathways…crucial developmental stages are not being fully developed. 🧠

Our local charity Via Wings is so passionate about improving the lives of the young people in our community and they have so fiercely fought for funding to be able to offer this programme locally 🫶
Hays Travel have so kindly and generously offered enough funding for us to be able to offer a series of workshops throughout the year! How amazing is that!! 🤩🤩🤩

If you are interested in a space DM, call or text now as spaces are filling fast!!
