International Friendship day 🫂

A global event celebrated every year on the 30th July. This official date was created in 2011, The goal is to show how important friendship is. Making peace, bringing people together and building trust 🙏 🙌 😌

We have the pleasure of making penpal friends with Titchmarsh CE Primary School, 🥰
we have enjoyed writing our replies for our new friends to recieve after summer ☀️

Our gardens have come alive with lovely bright flowers,

Our catapillar is enjoyed by our Residents and passers by, we have had wonderful comments from locals ❤️ 😀

Our Head gardener Trevor has overseen the project and works daily to ensure all flowers are watered and kept neat and tidy.

Sally who volunteers here at Hermitage House Care Home has been a huge part of the project, never afraid to get her hands dirty and get stuck in!
You'll all be pleased to know she has now joined the wellbeing team officially 🙌 🎉

We are very proud of our bright, inviting, fun display 🥰
