🌟 Celebrating the Difference Our Volunteers Make 🌟
We would like to shine a spotlight on two wonderful volunteers who make a real difference to patients and staff on the Acute Stroke Ward at University Hospital Crosshouse.
💜 Lailah, our Youth Ward Volunteer, brings enthusiasm, kindness and companionship to patients during what can often be a challenging time in their recovery journey. Her warm presence helps brighten days and provides valuable social interaction for those in our care.
💙 Sheila, our Spiritual Care Volunteer, offers compassionate listening, emotional support and comfort to patients and families. Her dedication helps ensure that people feel cared for not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.
Together, Lailah and Sheila embody the very best of volunteering. Their generosity, empathy and commitment enhance the patient experience and contribute to the welcoming and supportive environment we strive to provide every day.
