Have you ever thought that you would like to have a massage but do not have the time in your busy day to make any appointment to drive into town? All you need to do is provide me with the space to put my massage couch, and ensure that your room is comfo

rtably warm, and I will provide everything else. If you would like to turn your massage into more of a spa experience, why not light a couple of candles before I arrive (remember not to leave them unattended)

Please allow 15 minutes on top of your massage time to allow for putting up and putting away the couch and if it is your first massage with me, time to fill in a consultation form. Sports Massage and Sports Injury Treatment

At the beginning of your first treatment, a full consultation will be taken, and if required a visual postural assessment and range of movement assessment. And remember — you don’t always have to wait until something hurts to make time for yourself. 💜

“My back hurts, so you’ll need to really dig into it…”

Not necessarily! 🙌

When you come to me with a tight, stiff or aching back, my first job isn’t to find the sorest spot and press as hard as possible.

It’s to find out what’s going on for YOU.

Where are you feeling the discomfort?

When do you notice it most?

What movements make it feel better or worse?

What does your normal day look like?

And, importantly, what do you want to get from your treatment?

From there, I can tailor your massage to what your body needs on that particular day.

That might mean working on areas of muscular tension, incorporating gentle movement or stretching, or simply helping your body slow down and relax.

And remember…

💜 Sports massage doesn’t have to be painful to be effective.

More pressure doesn’t automatically mean a better treatment.

Sometimes your body needs something completely different.

Because there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all massage.

Your treatment should be tailored to YOU.

Could one of your everyday habits be contributing to that stiff, achy back?

Often, it’s not one big thing that leaves your back feeling uncomfortable.

It can be the little things we do day after day without really thinking about them.

💻 Staying in the same position for hours
👜 Carrying everything on the same side
😴 Not getting enough quality sleep
😬 Holding tension when you’re stressed
🌱 Sitting most of the week… then doing EVERYTHING at the weekend!

None of these automatically cause back pain — and you don’t need to spend your day worrying about having the “perfect” posture.

Instead, think movement and variety.

Change position.

Get up and walk around.

Move your body regularly.

Notice when you’re tensing your shoulders or bracing your body.

And if you’re planning a busy weekend of gardening, DIY or walking, try to keep yourself moving during the week too.

Sometimes your back isn’t asking you to stop.

It might just be asking you to move a little differently. 💜

👉 Swipe through the slides and see how many of these habits you recognise.

And save this one as a little reminder to keep moving!

Back feeling tight, achy or a little grumpy lately?

This week I’m focusing on back pain — those everyday aches that can build up from sitting, driving, lifting, training, stress… or simply doing a little too much.

Massage can be a lovely way to help ease muscular tension, improve movement and give your body a chance to properly switch off.

If your back has been asking for a bit of attention, I still have a few appointments available this week:

Thursday 14:30
Friday 14:30
Saturday 13:30 & 15:00

Whether you need some focused work on a troublesome area or simply an hour to relax and loosen everything up, we can tailor your treatment to what your body needs on the day.

And throughout this week I’ll be sharing some simple tips and exercises you can try at home to help keep your back moving between treatments. 💜

Send me a DM or book online to reserve your appointment.

✨ It’s the weekend! ✨

And that’s another week wrapped up at Harmony Wellbeing 💜

Thank you to everyone who has been in for a treatment this week — whether you came to ease those tight, achy muscles, switch off for an hour, or simply give yourself a little bit of time to breathe.

Now it’s time for me to slow down too, enjoy some fresh air, a few walks with Leo 🐾 and recharge ready for another week in the treatment room.

Whatever your weekend looks like, try to make a little space for you.

A slower morning.
A walk outside.
An early night.
A good book.
Or simply doing absolutely nothing without feeling guilty about it.

Sometimes the simplest things are exactly what we need. 💜

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Harmony Wellbeing is now closed for the weekend and I’ll be back next week. 🌿

Does anyone else think tight shoulders feel a bit like bubble wrap? 😂

You find one little knot… then another… then another…

And there’s something strangely satisfying about feeling that tension begin to soften under your fingers. Although, unlike bubble wrap, I promise I’m not actually trying to pop anything! 😂

Those tight, knotty areas around your neck and shoulders can build up for all sorts of reasons.

Long hours at a desk.
Driving.
Stress.
Poor sleep.
Training.
Or simply spending far too much time with your shoulders creeping up towards your ears.

Massage isn’t about digging in as hard as possible or painfully trying to “break up” every knot.

It’s about working with your body.

Using the right pressure.
Helping tight muscles relax.
Encouraging movement.
And hopefully leaving you feeling a little less like your shoulders are permanently attached to your ears.

But I can’t promise I’m not imagining bubble wrap while I’m working… pop… pop… pop… 😂

If your shoulders are currently feeling more bubble wrap than relaxed, maybe it’s time to give them a little attention.

When I find those little tight spots in your shoulders… does it remind you of bubble wrap too? 😂

That feeling of finding one… then another… then another…

Pop. Pop. Pop.

Of course, I’m not actually trying to pop anything 😅

Massage isn’t about digging in as hard as possible or painfully attacking every knot.

It’s about working with your body.

Helping tight muscles soften.
Easing tension.
Encouraging movement.
And helping those shoulders finally drop away from your ears.

So if your shoulders are currently feeling a little more bubble wrap than relaxed, it might be time to give them some attention.
