Heading to your diabetic eye screening?

Don't forget to bring your sunglasses!

The drops used during your appointment can make your eyes more sensitive to light for a few hours.

Sunglasses will help keep you comfortable on your way home!

Why do we use dilation eye drops during your appointment? 👁

They widen your pupils so we can capture clear images of the back of your eye and detect early signs of conditions like diabetic retinopathy.

Early detection protects your vision.

We were honoured to attend DRWF's Diabetes Wellness Morning South at The Solent Hotel & Spa in Hampshire and thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic morning of learning, discussion and networking.

With a focus on managing diabetes during hot weather, travel and holidays, the event covered everything from flights and cruises to road trips and active breaks.

Expert speakers shared practical advice on staying safe and well while travelling with diabetes, while attendees had the opportunity to meet exhibitors, ask questions during an interactive Diabetes Question Time session, and discover the wealth of support and resources available.

The event was both informative and engaging, helping people with diabetes feel informed, inspired and empowered ahead of their next adventure.

We are grateful to DRWF for the opportunity to attend and be part of such a valuable event.
