💚 Today marks 57 years since the Stonewall uprising, the historic moment from which we take our name.

Today we're honouring the activists who came before us: le****ns and trans women of colour were some of the key people involved in the act of resistance, including Stormé DeLarverie, Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson.

This anniversary is a reminder of the power of standing together in defiance of those who seek to divide us.

57 years later, we have come a long way, but we are undoubtedly in a period of turbulence. We are seeing a global rollback on LGBTQ+ rights and many in the LGBTQ+ community are feeling scared and uncertain about the future.

We’re committed to shaping policies and legislation which improves the lives of LGBTQ+ people day in, day out. Together, we can turn the world we imagine into the world we live in.
