Thank you to everyone who joined me for the Lughnasadh Sound Bath in the Meadow at Caer Corhrain today.

As we settled beneath the shade of the trees surrounding the meadow, the gentle sounds of the instruments blended beautifully with birdsong and the breeze in the meadow. Together we marked the first harvest, taking time to reflect on the seeds we’ve sown throughout the year and the abundance beginning to reveal itself.

After taking a few months away from holding sound baths, it felt truly wonderful to return. Thank you for sharing the space with me and for making such a peaceful and meaningful morning.

Blessed Lughnasdah everyone - enjoy the bounties of what ever you are harvesting this season ❤️

What does Lughnasadh mean in the modern world?

For most of us, the first harvest no longer means gathering grain from the fields. Our food comes from supermarkets, our days are ruled by calendars, and life rarely slows down.

But perhaps that’s exactly why Lughnasadh still matters.

This ancient festival reminds us to pause and ask an important question:

What have you been growing this year?

Not just in your garden, but in your life.

Maybe you’ve learned a new skill, overcome a challenge, built stronger relationships, improved your health, or simply found a little more peace than you had a few months ago.

These are harvests too.

In my latest blog, I explore how this ancient Celtic festival still has something valuable to teach us about gratitude, recognising our achievements, and taking a moment to celebrate before rushing on to the next goal.

Take a few moments to read it, then ask yourself…

What are you harvesting this Lughnasadh?

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

As darkness falls this Wednesday, the Full Moon rises during the Celtic Ogham month of Holly.

Holly is the tree that stands firm when the year begins its slow turn towards autumn. Evergreen through the coldest months, it reminds us that resilience isn’t about fighting the darkness - it’s about remaining rooted within it.

A full moon is often seen as a time of culmination and clarity. It invites us to pause, to acknowledge what has grown since the last new moon, and to gently release what no longer serves us.

Under Holly’s watchful presence, that invitation feels steadier, asking not for dramatic change but for quiet courage, clear boundaries and the wisdom to carry only what truly belongs with us.

If the skies are clear, take a few moments to step outside. Feel the cool evening air, look up at the moon, and remember that nature keeps its own rhythm. Sometimes the greatest magic is simply paying attention.

🌑 Super Dark Moon under Holly 🌿

This Tuesday the Dark Moon falls beneath the protective energy of Holly in the Ogham calendar - a time of quiet power, hidden intentions, and inner strength. Holly teaches that the most potent magic works unseen. Set your intentions clearly, protect them well, and trust them to grow in the darkness before they emerge into the light.

A perfect moon for reflection, protection, and planting the seeds of transformation.
