Motherhood can bring love and joy, but also pressure, exhaustion, and moments that feel overwhelming.

In the UK, around 1 in 5 women experience a mental health problem during the perinatal period, yet many still don’t get the support they need.

Maternal Mental Health Week is about awareness, compassion, and breaking stigma—but most importantly, reminding mums that support is available and it’s okay to reach for it any time of year.

If you’re struggling with low mood, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed - our counsellors are here to help with weekly, affordable 1-2-1 sessions online or in person.

Did you know just 15–20 minutes outdoors can boost your mental health?

It helps lower stress, reduce anxiety, and lift your mood — something we were reminded of at Monday’s feel-good Duckathon.

Our Mental Health Mallard didn’t win Love Walton Duckathon, but it was a great to be part of such a positive community event 🦆
