Live cultures are exactly that - live. Which means how you handle them matters as much as which one you buy, and three very ordinary habits quietly undermine them:
☕ Washing them down with a hot drink. Heat is not kind to living organisms. Cool water, always.
☀️ Storing them somewhere warm or bright. The windowsill, the shelf above the hob, the car. Cool and dark is the whole rule.
🔢 Reading the wrong number. A lot of labels lead with the count at time of manufacture, which is the biggest number a brand can print. The number that actually reaches you is the guaranteed count at expiry. Our Super 8 Gold is made at102 billion cells and guaranteed at a minimum of 61 billion viable cells per capsule at its two-year expiry date. We print both, because you should be comparing like with like.
