As we wrap up for Christmas, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone for their incredible support throughout 2025. It has been a fantastic year, and we’re so grateful to all our clients, students, and supporters who have trained with us.

SB First Aid Training is now closed for the Christmas break. We look forward to welcoming you back in the new year and are pleased to let you know that we currently have availability for a variety of First Aid courses starting from February 2026.

“3 First Aid Myths Busted in 30 Seconds 🚑✨”

❌ Myth 1: Tilt your head back if you have a nosebleed.
✅ Truth: Sit upright and lean forward slightly. Tilting back can cause blood to run down your throat.

❌ Myth 2: Put butter on a burn.
✅ Truth: Never! Cool the burn under running water for at least 20 minutes.

❌ Myth 3: If someone is choking and coughing, you should intervene.
✅ Truth: If they’re coughing, encourage them to keep going—it means their airway isn’t fully blocked. Step in only if they can’t breathe, speak, or cough.

🎉 One Year Ago Today 🎉

This time last year, Emily and I delivered our very first training session as SB First Aid Training. 🩹🚑

We were brand new business owners, a little nervous, but full of excitement and passion for helping others feel confident with lifesaving skills.

Looking back now, we’re so proud of how far we’ve come in just 12 months – the people we’ve trained, the businesses we’ve partnered with, and the lives that could be changed because someone had the confidence to step in.
