This week, we'd like to introduce our wonderful Care Coordinator, Pauline!
Pauline joined the care sector eight years ago, wanting to give something back to the community and make a real difference in people's lives.
Prior to this, she enjoyed a successful career in retail, often progressing into management and supervisory roles. She also raised two daughters and is now a proud grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren.
At the age of 55, Pauline started her journey with Complete Care West Yorkshire, joining us as a Care Worker.
She quickly discovered a passion for supporting people in the community and building meaningful relationships with those she cared for. Through hard work and dedication, she progressed from Care Worker to Buddy, then Team Leader, and now Care Coordinator.
What Pauline loves most about her role is helping people smile, and making them feel better about themselves. She believes our team is special because everyone brings their own unique strengths and qualities, and she credits Sara and Becky for their incredible support throughout her journey.
When she's not at work, Pauline's number one priority is her family. She also loves photography, enjoys relaxing with a bit of Lego, and can often be found on walks with her partner and their rescue greyhound, Ollie. (Although Ollie is an ex-racer, so these days he much prefers sleeping to running!)
Anyone who knows Pauline will tell you that she is the heart of our team. Always smiling, always caring, and always there when someone needs support.
Affectionately known as the "Mother Goose" of the team, Pauline keeps us all going, and brings warmth, kindness, and laughter to every day.
We are incredibly lucky to have Pauline as part of the Complete Care family, and we're sure you'll join us in thanking her for everything she does!
