Building future-ready, resilient young people — and the schools and families that support them. Have you ever started an exciting new role or new venture only to find yourself struggling with negative thoughts and self-doubt? Or maybe you find it hard to bounce back when you make a mistake or face a particularly tough situation?

If so, it may be that the challenges we've faced over the past two

years have lowered your resilience and wellbeing. If you find it hard to ignore your inner critic and focus on what you're good at, you might find yourself spending ages worrying you're doing things wrong and letting people down. This probably makes your feel like you have to go above and beyond to prove yourself to everyone, which leaves you exhausted and stressed. Chances are you then overthink about your problems but can't see a way to change your current situation, so you feel like you're stuck going around in circles. If this sounds like you, I can help you transform your negative thinking and behaviours by building the positive-mindset habits you need to develop inner-strength, unshakeable self-esteem, and lasting resilience. So you can become the strong, courageous and capable person you want to be. To find out how I can help you, book your free 20min discovery consultation by emailing me or calling 07786 568059. In a nutshell, I can help you:

Build your self-esteem and confidence. Improve your mental health and wellbeing. Reduce worries and stress. Discover your unique strengths and how to make them work for you. Feel motivated and energised
Take control of your life. Transform your inner critic into an inner cheerleader. Free yourself from fear and self-doubt and overcome imposter syndrome and good-girl conditioning. Evaluate your life as a whole and re-engage with mind, body and soul. In addition to over 11 years' experience coaching and mentoring, I achieved a First in my Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) at UEL. Through my degree I am experienced in several research-based coaching approaches, as well as advanced coaching of individuals and groups in personal and professional capacities. As a Positive Psychology Coach, I offer a wide range of cutting-edge interventions and techniques to enable my clients to reach their goals faster and improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing. Positive Psychology Coaching For Young People

I am also a qualified teacher and experienced Youth Coach (aged 8 to 18). My 10 week program is designed to help girls aged 10-14 build resilience, boost wellbeing and create positive relationships, so they can feel more self-confident and able to cope with life’s ups and downs; without feeling like they have to change who they are.

We don't know what jobs our children will be doing in ten years.

We don't know what the world will look like.

But we do know what they will need. Resilience. Confidence. The ability to think independently, cope with disappointment, and back themselves when things get hard.

One of my young people recently told me they have been using ChatGPT to prepare their arguments.

Not for school.

For their parents.

Researching their position. Anticipating the counterarguments. And winning.

Parents, I want to be clear that I am not encouraging this. 😂

But what that young person demonstrated - independently identifying a tool, thinking through a problem, preparing and executing - is exactly the kind of thinking we are trying to build.

They just chose a creative application for it.

The future is unknown. But young people who can think, adapt and back themselves? They are going to be absolutely fine.

That is what coaching builds. 🔗 Free discovery call in bio.

Would you have encouraged this or put a stop to it?

There is one statement in the VIA character strengths assessment that gets me every single time.

"I would tell a lie to keep out of trouble."

Every time I read it out there is a pause.

And they look at me.

And the look says - should I be honest here?

The irony of that moment is not lost on me.

Some young people answer immediately and confidently. Others consider it very carefully. And then there are my favourites - the ones who come back two questions later and quietly ask if they can change their answer.

What I love about this assessment is what it reveals beyond the answers themselves.

The self-awareness, the honesty, the gap between who a young person thinks they should be and who they actually are.

That gap is exactly what coaching helps with.

Save this if you work with or parent a young person who could benefit from understanding themselves a little better.

Meet the emotional support alpacas.

Yes, they attend coaching sessions. Yes, even with teenagers. Yes, the teenagers love them.

There are two types of people in this world and I need to know which one you are.

Type one picks one up and cannot stop stroking it. Cradles it for the entire session. Honestly, it sometimes feels like I'm coaching a Bond villain.

Type two has a feel and goes -- yeah, I don't get it.

And here is the thing. It is never who you think it is going to be.

So tell me. Team Fluff or Team I Don't Get It? Drop it in the comments -- I genuinely want to know.

A perspective scale. Zero is totally fine. 100 is the absolute worst thing imaginable.

Nuclear war landed at a mild 92.

You can probably guess what made it to 100.

This is what working on catastrophising actually looks like - and the progress this young person has made since is everything. They catch themselves now. They check the scale. They recalibrate.

That is the whole point.

Save this if you have a young person in your life who struggles with perspective. And tell us in the comments - what would your 100 be?

For school leaders and pastoral heads —
If you've been thinking about how to expand your wellbeing provision beyond counselling, this article is worth your time.

We've written about what positive psychology coaching adds to a pastoral team, how our in-school model works in practice, and why the feedback from both inspectors and parents has been so strong.

The model costs the school nothing. The impact is significant. 👇

More independent schools are adding positive psychology coaches to their pastoral teams. Discover how in-school coaching complements therapy, impresses inspectors, and gives parents confidence — at no cost to the school.

When a school closes, it affects everyone connected to it - pupils, parents, teachers, and staff who have often given years of their professional lives to that community. It is a genuinely sad thing, and the ripple effects on families can be significant and long-lasting.

If you are a parent in this situation - facing an unexpected school move and feeling unsure how best to support your child through it - please know that this kind of transition, while unsettling, can be navigated well with the right support.

Children are more resilient than we sometimes give them credit for.

But they need the adults around them to feel steady first.

If you would like to talk through how coaching could help your child - and your family - through a period of change, we offer a free 20-minute discovery call with no obligation.

Sometimes just having a conversation with someone who understands is enough to feel a little clearer.

This 100% home-grown cucumber represents all of my core values of connectivity, gentleness, positivity and love of learning.

I was led by Gentleness in my choice to take an organic, sustainable and ethical gardening approach and I’ve had to Learn what my little cucumber seeds needed to grow and then how to nurture the plants.

I needed to stay Connected with the weather and seasons to know what to do and when; with myself to ensure I make a little time to garden and check on my plants everyday; and with nature to grow my own vegetables in an environmentally conscious way.

And what is gardening if not an act of hope, optimism and Positivity for the future?

How do you ensure you live your core values?

(P.s. can you tell I was a little bit excited? 😂)
