🙌Act 11 of 30!🙌

When an overgrown garden became difficult to manage and safely enjoy, a team of Premier Community volunteers stepped in to lend a helping hand. 🌿

For Act 11 of our 30 for 30 campaign, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and spent the day transforming a Service User’s garden in Hucknall, turning an overgrown outdoor space into somewhere safer, more accessible and much more enjoyable. 💙

And what a difference a day can make! 🌱☀️

🙌 Act 10 of 30! 🙌

When 87-year-old Yvonne’s home in Kirkby-in-Ashfield was badly damaged by fire, she lost the mobility equipment she relied upon. After hearing Yvonne’s story, Rachel and our Kings Mill Mobility team knew this could not simply be treated as another sale.

For Act 10 of 30, Premier Community was proud to gift Yvonne a new Integrity Aries Rollator, helping her regain a little independence and confidence during an incredibly uncertain time. 💙

Yvonne is currently looking for temporary accommodation while repairs to her home are completed. A bungalow or ground-floor flat in or around Kirkby-in-Ashfield would be ideal.

🙌 Act 9 of 30! 🙌

Premier Community donated a £250 American Golf voucher to Bulwell Hall Golf Club’s annual charity golf day, helping support an incredible fundraising effort for Hayward House Hospice. ⛳💙

Thanks to the generosity of golfers, local businesses and supporters, the event raised an amazing £10,300, more than doubling last year’s total.

The money will help Hayward House continue providing compassionate, personal care and precious moments for patients and their families when they need them most.

⚽ Premier Community was proud to be represented at Mansfield Town Football Club’s 250 Club draw this week, joining local businesses ahead of the new season.

It was a brilliant evening, a great chance to connect with other local organisations and another reminder of how important community links are to us across the areas we serve.

A big thank you to Mansfield Town for having us, and best of luck to the Stags for the season ahead. 💙

For Act 8 of 30, we welcomed some very special guests back to Premier Community’s Head Office. These are just a few of the people who helped lay the foundations of the organisation we know today. Our Legends of Premier! 🌟

The group spent time seeing how Premier Community has grown and evolved, meeting today’s teams and sharing plenty of memories, laughter and stories from the good old days.

While so much has changed over the past 30 years, one thing has always remained the same: people are at the heart of Premier Community.
