Conscious Mind Exploring who your soul is, how we are linked to each other & the universe. What people are saying.

Through books, classes, workshops and one-on-one sessions Alison has taken hundreds of people on a journey to meet their soul so they might gain insight into their life and gain greater calmness and harmony. Alison Wem left her job to pursue her true dream of helping people lead happier, healthier and more prosperous lives. Alison uses her gifts as an author, teacher, healer and psychic medium to

help people to know themselves, their life challenges and how to gain greater calmness, harmony and wisdom on their own path of spiritual development. Alison moved forward from widowhood to find an inner strength and wisdom she did not know she possessed. She did this through going within for love and guidance, the subject of her soul book series Your Soul Family.

“The book Finding Your Soul Family is specifically about identifying your soul family. It is beautifully put together with images and illustrations that clarify the techniques and ideas described. You can return to the book again and again, especially when you’re going through tough choices or feeling disconnected from spiritual guidance. A practical and well-thought-out way to reconnect with yourself and with the Divine.”

There is a quiet strength in pausing before you decide.

In that moment, something shifts.

You move from reacting…
to listening more deeply to what feels true.

A short reflection on this:

Discover why pausing before you decide leads to better decisions, helping you move forward with greater clarity and less inner conflict.

Your body often recognises truth before the mind has time to interpret it.

A subtle contraction.
A quiet sense of ease.
A shift in energy that is difficult to explain.

These signals are easy to override, especially when the mind wants certainty.

But when you learn to pause and listen, they offer a different kind of guidance — one that doesn’t rely on logic, but on direct knowing.

👉 How to Hear the Quiet Voice of Your Soul

Learn how to hear your inner voice by tuning into your body’s signals and creating space for calm, clarity, and deeper self-awareness.

When your mind feels overwhelmed, everything can start to feel urgent at once.

But often, it’s not about doing more.

It’s about creating a little space.

A simple pause, one breath, or focusing on one thing can begin to calm the mind and bring clarity back.

👉 How to Calm Your Mind When You Feel Overwhelmed

Feeling overwhelmed? Learn simple ways to calm your mind, create space, and regain clarity when life feels too much.

When life feels challenging, it’s rarely just one response we have.

Part of us looks for comfort.
Part of us tries to take control.
And part of us becomes very quiet.

In difficult moments, it’s easy to lose that quieter part.

And yet, it may be the part that holds the clearest perspective.

Creating a little space - even a pause - can begin to change how we respond.

👉 Staying Calm in the Face of Adversity

When life feels overwhelming, calmness creates space for body, mind, and soul to work together so wisdom and steadiness can emerge.

It’s easy to stay busy.

To keep moving.
To keep doing.

But sometimes, busyness quietly takes us further away from ourselves.

This article explores what begins to shift when we allow space for stillness instead.

Feeling constantly busy can disconnect you from yourself. Discover how to move from busyness to inner stillness and reconnect with what truly matters.

Sometimes a decision appears right on the surface, yet leaves a subtle sense of inner misalignment.

That feeling of regret is not always about the outcome itself. It is often a signal that something within us moved away from our deeper values or inner knowing.

When we slow down and pay attention, that discomfort can become useful. It points us back toward alignment, integrity, and a clearer way of responding going forward.

I’ve explored this more fully in a recent reflection:

Quiet moments are becoming increasingly rare in a world of constant stimulation. Yet from an energetic perspective, stillness is not passive. It is a recalibration point.

When we remain continuously plugged into collective noise - whether through media, social dynamics, or emotional contagion - our own energetic field can become unsettled. This may show up as subtle anxiety, reduced clarity, or a quiet loss of inner trust.

Intentional quiet allows both the nervous system and the subtle body to re-align. In these pauses, perception sharpens, intuition strengthens, and responses become more conscious rather than reactive.

I have written a reflection on why creating space for stillness is becoming an essential spiritual discipline in modern life.

Abundance is often misunderstood. Many people think first about money. However, true abundance can also show itself through peace of mind, supportive relationships, improving well-being, and small everyday moments of quiet happiness.

Sometimes the most powerful shift begins with simply noticing what is already present in your life. When appreciation grows, a sense of possibility often follows.

If you feel ready to invite more openness and support into your life, you may enjoy this gentle reflection and simple daily practice.

Sometimes our inner voice does not arrive as a clear answer.
Instead it appears quietly - through a thought that returns, or a feeling that asks to be noticed.

In this new article I explore how to recognise when that deeper voice within us is trying to guide us.

Sometimes we sense something before we can explain it.
A quiet knowing. A hesitation. A feeling that doesn’t yet have words.

I’ve written a new article about learning to trust those early signals, especially when life feels uncertain or pressured.

If you’ve ever “just known” something but couldn’t justify it logically, this may resonate.

Sometimes you sense something before you can explain it. This reflection explores how subtle knowing unfolds without forcing clarity too soon.
