UPDATE Friday 7th August 2026 11:40am. Our systems are all back on. Please bear with us whilst we process the backlog. Thank you for your understanding.

We have received an update regarding our network (IT) and phone system. It looks as though this issue could carry over to tomorrow, we will update tomorrow morning.
We are still open but have no access to IT or phones.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

**Patient Information - Prescription Line changes**

Due to staff shortages we need to make changes to our prescription line.

From Tuesday 4th August our prescription line will be open 10am - 1pm.

If you are able to, we recommend requesting your repeat prescription via the NHS App. The NHS App can be accessed via a smartphone, tablet or a PC. https://access.login.nhs.uk/login

Requests via the NHS App are processed quicker, so will mean a shorter wait time compared to ordering via our prescription line. Request on the NHS App can be made any time, it is available to use 24/7.

A reminder that requests for repeat prescription have a 72 hour turn around time, although are usually done a lot quicker (especially when ordered via the NHS App).

For patients who do not have access to a device or the internet the prescription line can still be used and there is no change to our prescription request box located in the practice.

🌟 Jayne 🌟

Our wonderful secretary Jayne provides great support to our team and patients. Always willing to help and goes the extra mile to help the practice.

Jayne has recently supported the practice by training in phlebotomy to ensure appointments were available for patients during episodes of nurse maternity leave and has worked on her days off to provide admin cover for the practice.

We currently have staff sickness which will affect prescription requests through the prescription line, we encourage patients to use the NHS App, this will ensure there are no delays in your repeat prescription requests.

If you have already requested your prescription through the prescription line, do not worry, this will still be processed.

A reminder that requests for repeat prescription have a 72 hour turn around time, although are usually done a lot quicker.
