As we head into the darker months, I've been busy planning some very special events to keep us chipper, and help us get excited for the coming festive season.

I've designed some singing workshops for families and friends, and some very special workshops for people who need to take things a bit slower, or explore the world n a sensory way. All workshops can be adapted to be bespoke too.

My online yoga schedule is also here to help you carve out moments for yourself.

Tuesday evening yoga re-starts tomorrow at 6.30pm

It's a gentle class that offers challenge, then restoration. We start the term getting back into our bodies and and gradually take up the pace as we head towards Winter.

I offer lots of options for creaky people and options for those wanting to go a bit deeper, so all levels of practice are catered for.

And as it is online, you can practice from the comfort of your own home. As a special treat, for the first month, there will be a longer yoga nidra at the end of each class.

It's a new term and I'm looking forward to my online studio beginning again next week.
Having had a bit of a busy year, I realise I haven't been sharing or speaking about what the online sessions involve, so ...
On a Monday morning, I offer a vocal meditation class. It follows a similar pattern to a traditional yoga class, but for the voice.
Throughout the term, we explore different aspects of singing and toning, finding ways to experience and enjoy our voices in a way that offers soothing and restoration for both mind and voice.
Sometimes we focus on a chant, sometimes we use bija sounds, or vowels to improve our tone, to develop any singing technique we may be using, and to develop mindfulness skills.
It's a lovely way to start the week, and a very warm and inclusive group.
For the beginning of this term, we will be focusing on fullness of sound, how that might be felt and how to grow your inner sound.

Happy New Year Yogis. The start of a new term today, and my focus for January is self-care and support throughout these colder and darker months. There's a glimpse of sunshine here, after the snow fell yesterday. The blue sky is so welcome, and it's just gorgeous to see the fields dusted with crisp snow. But the coldness isn't fun, and causes our bodies to seize up, to huddle in on themselves, and our nervous system can read this as stress.
So I invite you to join me throughout January, to find warmth and ease on the mat, you'll need a blanket, and cosy socks, and if you have a pet, welcome them to snuggle up with you in the yoga nidra session at the end, to boost your oxytocin levels 🐱🐶 Details on the flyer below🌞❄️🩷🕉

Well the summer went by in a blink of an eye... in fact, did we have one? It's certainly here now. Rain stopped play a lot this year so a lot of plans didn't quite come into being, especially outdoor ones.

It's the start of a new term next week, online classes resume.
Monday - 9.30 chanting group
Tuesday - 18.30 gentle yoga
Friday - 9.30 yoga for core and shoulder stability

And we are finally outside! It's been along wait to get here. The garden is beginning to bloom, and the shala pet team are eagerly awaiting your visits.

I'll be announcing dates and details for Friday evening relaxation and Wednesday morning practice very soon. Hope you are all enjoying the weather as much as these two!

Hello everyone, I've been a bit quiet on here lately, mainly waiting for the sun to shine so I can post pictures of the garden. We're busy working on it when we can, but this rain is delaying us a bit!

I will be starting a weekly outdoor yoga class once everything dries out🤞, and also a monthly soundbath event, Friday evenings at twilight, with a hot spiced chocolate to help you relax from the inside out.

Till then, you can always join me online for yoga on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings.

Where has this term gone!
Time has just flown recently and I realise I have been absent from this page for a bit too long, but I am back just in time to wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
