I have been an artist since I could hold a crayon. I have been facilitating and guiding humans with holistic & creative workshops for decades.

I am also a psychoeducational tutor and Menopause First Aider. I am a freelance artist. I dabble in graphic design but mostly paint and use polymer clay. I love metallic paint and mica powder which is strange because I'm not a blingy in person. My inspiration comes from ancient and archaic art, mythology, tradition & culture. I have a deep proclivity for pens. I also teach creative workshops. I meander towards photo-realistic illustration when I'm in the mood or am paid enough. Commissions and sales are a given!

Saturday 26th September 1-4pm Art Studios Wakefield
Looking at the element of water, Shannon will be guiding you to just be and have fun with the alchemy of using watercolour paints as we dive into the theme of those Mythical creatures of the water that always inspire and ensorcell us.

A unique workshop diving into the lore & visual imagery of mermaids,
water nymphs, selkies, sirens & many more.
Apt & playful watercolour paints will guide our creative afternoon.

"I am a largely self taught embroiderer and textile artist working in . Growing up left handed in the 1960s, there was very little understanding and support within schools and I was led to believe I would never be able to sew. I was an adult before I realised this wasn't true! I always had a passion for colour and texture and an evening class in felt making really set me on the road to working with textiles. I have recently completed a City & Guilds Level 3 in Hand Embroidery. My exhibition will show pieces that I submitted for my course showing a range of techniques, plus some work before and after this."
