🎈🎂 A Birthday to Remember for Stacey! 🎂🎈

What a fantastic weekend our lovely client, Stacey has had celebrating her upcoming birthday this week! 💜

She was treated to a fun filled birthday party complete with balloons, lots of presents, and plenty of special surprises. Stacey was absolutely spoiled and loved every minute of it! 🎁🎉

The celebrations didn't stop there. The following day, Stacey enjoyed a wonderful trip to Scarborough, making even more happy memories and enjoying a fantastic day by the seaside. 🌊☀️

Seeing Stacey surrounded by such kindness, friendship, and care is truly heart warming. We are so pleased she had the special birthday she deserves!!

🎉 Nearly £500 Raised... and Nearly Time to Jump! 🪂💚

Our amazing care colleague, Tara Jackson, is getting closer to her fundraising goal and is now nearly at £500 raised for Wakefield Hospice🎉

With her skydive on 23rd August fast approaching, it's almost time for Tara to take the leap and put her courage to the test, all in support of an incredible local charity. 🪂💚

Wakefield Hospice provides vital care and support to local people and their families when they need it most, and Tara is bravely stepping out of her comfort zone to help raise funds for this wonderful cause.

We couldn't be prouder of her commitment, determination, and willingness to make a difference in our community.

🌟 Matthew's First Adventure with the Team 🌟

We are delighted to share that our wonderful new client, Matthew, enjoyed his very first day out with his support team from Prestige Nursing & Care this week.💜

Alongside his Support Worker James and existing Team Leader Debbie, Matthew headed off to Murton Park in York for a fun-filled day of exploration, new experiences, and plenty of smiles.

From discovering the attractions and enjoying the beautiful surroundings to spending quality time together, it was a fantastic opportunity for Matthew to build confidence, create new memories, and enjoy everything the day had to offer.

At Prestige Nursing & Care, we know how important these moments are. Supporting people to access their communities, pursue their interests, and experience new adventures is at the heart of what we do.

A huge thank you to James and Debbie for helping make Matthew's outing such a special one. We can't wait to see where the next adventure takes him! 😊

Last week, our wonderful client Stacey had an unforgettable day at Keighley Cougars Stadium, enjoying an incredible live performance from JLS! 🎶🎤

Experiences like these are so important, providing opportunities to make memories, enjoy favourite artists, and be part of the excitement that live events bring. Stacey had a fantastic time singing along, soaking up the atmosphere, and enjoying every moment of the show.

✨ A Day of Magic and Mystery for Frankie✨

Our lovely client Frankie and his support worker James recently enjoyed an unforgettable day out at The Forbidden Corner and Mother Shipton's Cave, and what an adventure it was!

From secret passages, talking trees and hidden surprises to magical discoveries around every corner, Frankie had an absolute blast exploring this unique and enchanting place. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and memories made throughout the day.

Days like these are so important for promoting independence, building confidence, and creating meaningful experiences. Thank you to James for helping make the day so special.

It certainly looked like a truly magical day! 🌟💙

⛰️💚 A Family Challenge for Wakefield Hospice 💚⛰️

On Saturday 1st August, one determined family will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for Wakefield Hospice.

Taking part is our branch manager, Zoe, her husband Craig, their children, Zoe's sister Jodie, Jodie's husband Dale, their daughter, Annabelle and their dad Bolton-Page James.....its so amazing that they are all coming together to support a cause that means so much to so many people.

As they tackle Wales' highest peak, every step will help raise vital funds for Wakefield Hospice and the incredible care and support they provide to local families. 💪

We're wishing them the very best of luck as they take on this challenge together. It's inspiring to see three generations of one family pulling together, encouraging each other, and making a difference for such a worthwhile cause.

🌟 Kaleb's New Office Adventure! 🌟

For those who know our wonderful client Kaleb, you'll know that a visit to our Wakefield office for this young man is an important part of his routine.

From arriving and leaving at just the right time (he's quite the clock watcher! ⏰), to helping with boxes, packing and unpacking, decorating our celebration trees, and spending a few peaceful moments watching the world go by from the window, the office has always been a place he enjoys.

With our recent move to a new office location, we wanted to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible, with minimal disruption to the routine that means so much to Kaleb.

We're delighted to say that he absolutely smashed it! 🎉

Kaleb visited our new office space yesterday and settled in straight away. He got stuck in helping, explored his new surroundings, and quickly made himself at home, even tucking into our stash of sweets!!

It was wonderful to see his confidence and enthusiasm shine through as he embraced the change so positively.

A huge well done to Kaleb for taking this exciting step in his stride and to his amazing support workers for making these things happen.

We're looking forward to making many more happy memories together in our new office. 💙
