Generally:

✔️ A BMI of 30 or above may be eligible for treatment.
✔️ If you have weight-related health conditions, such as type 2 diabetes or sleep apnoea, you may be eligible with a BMI of 27 or above.

Unlike many online services, we don't rely on a simple questionnaire. We believe in real conversations and finding the safest, most appropriate treatment plan for you.

You may have seen recent headlines about omeprazole... but what do they actually mean? 💊

Omeprazole is a medication commonly used to treat acid reflux, gastritis and stomach ulcers, as well as helping protect the stomach for people taking certain medications, such as long-term anti-inflammatory painkillers.

While recent studies have explored possible links between long-term use and conditions such as dementia, the evidence isn't clear, and these headlines don't mean people should stop taking their medication.

The key message is simple: if you've been prescribed omeprazole, there's usually a good reason for it.

However, if you've been taking it for a long time and you're not sure why, it's worth booking a medication review with your GP. They can check whether it's still the right treatment for you.
