✨ Trip Down Memory Lane ✨

Today we took a wonderful trip down memory lane, reminiscing about what we all dreamed of becoming when we were younger. From nurses and teachers to pilots, dancers, and everything in between, it sparked so many fantastic conversations, laughter, and treasured memories.

It’s amazing how revisiting our childhood dreams can bring smiles, encourage storytelling, and help us learn even more about one another. ❤️

This afternoon at Donwell House Care Home, our residents had a fantastic time with Jerome during our armchair exercise session! 💪🪑

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and movement as everyone enjoyed keeping active together. Regular gentle exercise can help improve strength, flexibility, balance, circulation, and even boost mood and wellbeing—proving it’s never too late to stay active! 🌟

This afternoon our residents kicked back, relaxed, and enjoyed a fantastic movie afternoon with plenty of popcorn, cuppas, and great company while watching King Kong vs. Godzilla! ☕🍿

There’s nothing better than sharing a favourite film, enjoying tasty treats, and spending quality time together. A wonderful afternoon full of entertainment, laughter, and relaxation! ❤️

🌭 Sausage Senses Challenge at Donwell House! 🌭

Today our residents put 4 out of their 5 senses to the test in a fun sausage-tasting challenge! 👃👀✋👅

From classic favourites to some surprise flavours, everyone enjoyed smelling, looking, feeling and, of course, tasting a variety of sausages before trying to guess what they were. There were plenty of laughs, a few tricky guesses, and lots of smiles along the way! 😊

Activities like this are a fantastic way to stimulate the senses, encourage conversation, and create wonderful shared memories.
